I have to buy a few. They are made about 60 miles from where I live. I love knifes and I love supporting my neighbors. Win win. I do wish they had them available in magnacut or 3V but s35vn is still an amazing steel when heat treated right. Update: 30 minutes later, I bought it! Can't wait to compare it to my Bradfords. Thanks for the great info. 👍👍
The m1 is a great knife. I have the green one. I think the best knife they make value wise is the step up filet. I’m a fisherman so I’m biased, but the filet is a very important knife butchering large game for the kitchen. If you clean and strop these knives they stay sharp enough.
Interesting I came across this, I was already looking at this knife for a new skinner if ESEE won't hurry up and release their Ashley Game Knife in S35VN (I'm much more fond of that subtle Nussmek shape for skinning).
Unfortunately I don’t think anyone makes a production leather sheath for these. You could always commission a custom leather sheath from a local leather craftsman.

Is the spine sharp enough to throw sparks?
No all the edges are rounded.
Is the spine 90 degree?
Yep. 90 degree spine for striking
Does anyone make a leather sheath for this knife? Thanks

Is the burlap micarta smooth or slightly textured?
It is smooth but not polished. It gives a good grip without being rough
@@NorthwestKnives PERFECT. I was hoping it wasn't polished glossy. If it was glossy i was going to go with the black&green micarta
lol never showed the sheath....wtf
