They saved money on this since they hired the Ashmore twins instead of using expensive special effects to double the characters. You may recognize one or both as: Shawn Ashmore was Iceman in X-Men, Jake in Animorphs, Ged in Earthsea, and Lamplighter in The Boys (along with Joyce in the Quantum Break game) Aaron Ashmore was Troy in Veronica Mars, Jimmy Olsen in Smallville, Nate in Lost Girl, Jinks in Warehouse 13, John Jaqobis in Killjoys, and Duncan in Locke & Key.
First of all happy 2025 to you too. I'm glad to hear that we'll be getting a double episode reaction soon! One of the things that I love about Fringe is the intricacies and symbolisms, all those subtle details that take place between the cases and the personal lives of the characters, and how things from previous episodes affect future ones. Is like the essence of Fringe represented in the glyphs that they had between commercial breaks (the frog, the butterfly, the apple, the sunflower, the hand, the sea horse, the horn, the leaf, and smoke) For those who don't pay attention, that's all they are; but for those that DO pay attention, you have hidden details in each of them, and together, they form a character replacement code that spells a word in each episode giving you a clue about what the current episode is about, but in essence it is about looking at the world and things beyond the surface appearance of them, looking for patterns and connections that exist below the surface in order to understand the underlying nature of things.
Thank you very much Sweetie. Happy New Year to you, too
