Every hopeful debut author should take the time to immerse themselves fully in this lecture. Watch it twice. Watch it three times. Watch it before, during and after your first draft. It will help you economize your writing time and effort. The writing world is filled with rabbit holes. Everyone tumbles down at least one of them. This lecture will save you from at least a few, or help you find your way out. Emily's lecture is loaded with explicit information minus wasted words. I feel fortunate to have tuned into this free lecture. Please believe me writers, it is worth $$.... that would have been well spent! Thank you Authors Publish!

Amazing talk. Thanks, Emily, for all of these tips and insights for approaching story problems! I'm already getting good results working through the suggestions and exercises in the theme/character/plot slides. Loved the inside outline idea, too, I've added that book to my gift list :)

Great talk, thanks, Emily and Jacob. Came along just at the perfect time. Didn't know they were named 'cut files', but I keep them for when I need to 'kill my darlings.'
