A couple corrections. Flower Breathing is NOT the only technique to enhance your body - Thunder Breathing is specifically said to enhance your leg strength with a similar drawback like Flower Breathing when overusing it and Beast Breathing also has a technique that specifically enhances your senses so you can feel out where you enemies are. As for making the element your style is named after Moon Breathing - at least the higher numbered form create the moon-shaped blades we see using his Demon Blood Arts.
As for insect breathing i think the form of a butterfly is an artistic representation of “float like a butterfly, sting like a bee” because that’s exactly what she does!!
On the requests portion, I'd love to see your style of breakdown on kurapika's emperor time. The part about 100% efficiency in every category being a "yes but no" is something that can be unexpectedly confusing
From what I know, Iado is the exercise of unsheathing the sword quickly into a strike and then storing it back into the sheath, and battojutsu is when that is converted into as an actual martial art/sword fighting style. I mean, the protagonist of a classic anime centered around swordfighting used battojutsu and the guy was nicknamed after that.

What I believe is happening is the user for each style is bringing in their spiritual essence to help them fight. Let me explain, We know that in Demon slayer there is a Soul, After life, and God. We also know that the spirits can talk/help the living So saying some one is using their spiritual essence wouldnt be a over statement. What I think happens is that each person has their own spiritual core that is linked to a specific element or feeling that correlates with that person. Which is why some breathing styles are meant for some and not others because its not what they are intended for. For example if you have a pure soul with energy built for flame breathing, you may struggle with stone breathing due to you needing to be more calm and patient (thats not how it truly works just giving examples). Also I believe when a person uses a breathing style they turn their spiritual essence itself into a attack. Meaning they are forming their spiritual energy into lighting or fire. Yet none of these are happening in the physical world, they are all happening in the spiritual. This is why humans may not be able to see the breath style yet it can still interact with the world, Examples are Zenitzu literally flying mid air with Daki going back and forth as if he was truly lighting, characters elements interacting with the environment by destroying or forming it, tanjiro creating a clone. But this allows us to explain two other things, how demons may see them, how blood arts are made. The way demons can see them is simple, since they are alive while still being dead since they are no longer human and live only through the night they may be able to sort of see both worlds, meaning when a demon slayer uses breathing they can see which element they are because they can see the spiritual attack itself, which explains why some demons know what type of demon slayer they are fighting (Akaza saying when he fights a water pillar or other demons naming the element). Lastly I think most if not all demons had breath styles that couldve suited them but because they corrupted their spirit they also corrupted their breath style. For example Muzans demon art is a Emp, that can be a corrupt version of Thunder breathing, Upper moon two couldve been Ether water or mist, hell maybe Ice Breathing, lower moon 6 kyogai couldve been sound breathing but since he was corrupt each sound he plays now correlates with his breath style. Some people might say “well we see two demons who already used breath styles and they arent that different” what I think happened here is that since they are already toned to this breath style and have already used it for most of their life that its already built into them. Think of it like this, Each person who never had a breath style has a egg, if they decide to turn evil before the egg hatches, whatever is in the egg will mutate turning hugely different then what it was supposed to be, but say you let the egg hatch and you let it grow with you for a few years, then you turn evil. The eggs hatched so what ever it was has already taken form. So now instead of changing its full form you just change its appearance and personality (hope that makes sense). Finally because a demon is in the spiritual world and physical at the same time the have the ability to bring their “breath styles” or their spiritual essence and attacks to the real world since to them they are one and the same. Hence why they are able to use their abilities to a greater advantage. Hope this all made sense its hard to do all of this in on comment.

Well all people of Konoha have some Senju dna likewise because of what Tobirama did in his reign as Hokage… of course being in the same clan as Hashirama doesn’t increase the chances of having his *SIGNATURE MOVE* because he invented it… everyone else who had it got it unnaturally or just isn’t canon… but you didn’t get into specifics, what if… Senju just have stronger chakra and that would mean your chances of getting a Kekkai Genkai are increased?!?! Although I don’t know what “stronger chakra” would really mean.
Nice video! I hate to be “that guy”, but in terms of power, human moon breathing is as strong as all the others. Kokushibo is an extremely powerful user and infuses his moon with his demon art, making it stronger (the same way Kaigaku creates ranged thunder with his demon art). Thanks for uploading this video!
It would make sense. Because those cresent moon blade effects are actually tangible and thus can do damage whereas most other breathing effects are visual metaphors. An example is that Rengoku's fire doesn't actually burn demons.
Inosuke's swords are called swordbreaker Kitana's, swordbreaker's does what the namesake would obviously sounds like, they break swords, similarly to what the Japan Kitanas do in Japanese mythology and culture, so the artist combined the two swords in history for Inosuke
swordbreakers are actually a bit misnamed. they don't break swords, their function is to break the guard of the opponent by trapping the sword. Usually takes the form of a knife with arrow like notches cut out of it so that you can use leverage against the opponent's sword and move it out of the way, messing up their defence

Inoske is an absolute beast. Like he saw a demon slayer and wanted to fight this seasoned sword user, he proceeded to beat this guy's ass and take his word. He has never had any training and has lived with boars his whole and doesn't even know how to read or write. Him being able to speak is already impressive enough since he can speak to both boars and human fluently. Then after beating some guy ass he decides to start killing demons and creats his own breathing style without even knowing that it exists. What a legend

Moon breath is another breathing art that does actually create what it’s named after it’s said that when kokoshibo swung his sword it shot out sharp crescent shaped blades

I'm surprised there hasn't been a character who knew more than one breathing form. Tanjuro knows two, it wouldnt be too unreasonable that some Hashira level swordsman mastered more than one too, in an attempt to balance the strengths and weaknesses of two or more forms. but i guess that would just become its own form.
There cannot be anyone who masters multiple breathings. The entire concept around different breathing styles is that everyone is suited for a different one. You can USE as many different styles however you can only master the one that is best suited for you.
My favorite part in Demon Slayer is when Muzan compares himself to a natural disaster. That is hilarious coming from the guy whose biggest threat are the sun and a bunch of people that have learned how to breathe good. I would honestly be surprised if Muzan could last ten seconds with a real anime powerhouse like Madara or Aizen.
7:47 As someone who practice kendo, most people in kendo use choudan no kamae, which means their shinai is placed near the waist pointing to opponent’s throat, and thus most strikes actually comes from the waist,not the head. People who uses Jodan no kamae would place shinai up above the head and it is a very offensive technique that give you increased range at the cost of opning up more spots for your opponent to hit (e.g. left hand is only a valid target when opponent is in a Jodan position)

In the Manga when Yorrichi is using all the 12 forms of Sun breathing Sumiyoshi States that “the breath of the sun forms were so Elegant that they took your breathe away” then he says “they were just to beautiful” But if Breathing styles aren’t actually visible why would Sumiyoshi say that 🧐
The effects aren’t real for the demon slayers, pretty sure it was mentioned somewhere but I can’t recall where I read it. Sumiyoshi said that it was beautiful because of the movements of the breathing style which resembled a dance. Hence why it was passed down (by Sumiyoshi) as the Hinokami Kagura
I created a branch of Wind breathing called Smoke breathing. It is based on how smoke can form into plumes, clouds, shift and swirl about. So this breathing technique uses a lot of listing, shifting and unpredictable moves. The user should be very agile and have good footing plus be able to get and maintain footing quickly. Total its got 9 forms.
Obanai actually uses the bigger Philippine/Javanese kris sword. General Indonesian kris is essentially a small wavy knife, while Philippine/Javanese kris a bigger version and more sword-like.
Well here’s the problem with that, when Rengoku was fighting Akaza, Rengoku blocked some of Akaza’s punch blast thing in the air without it touching his sword. So did it just stop? Or was the fire really there?
The fire is not there, but the effects of fire is. The elements are not produced by the styles, but the effects become real the better you are at the breathing technique. P.s. This is based on observations of the manga.
Akaza creates shockwaves The only way to stop a shockwave is to create one of equal or greater magnitude against it So probably rengoku swinging hard enough to create a counter-shockwave, cause most of the hashira are just casually superhuman

I know the mangaka himself said It but I noticed a mistake. When zenitsu used thunder breathing during the spider family fight, tanjiro remarks that he can smell thunder so that means that thunder generates its element
It's not a mistake the dialogue is this Tanjiro" what was that sound? Did Lightning just strike?" Inosuke:" How should I know" Tanjiro:" But I'm not smelling any thunderclouds" In other words everytime Zenitsu does his move he breaks the sound barrier which sounds like thunder
Its been around 2 months and i now know more of naruto that some people i know who are die hard fans (i only saw the original and a bit of Shipuden). Now your drilling into one of my favorite shows of recent times m. This is great.

I’m not sure if this was answered but if tanjiro can do sun breathing AND water breathing is he able to use other techniques since he can access the original sun breathing form?
he might but he would need to train in different type of weapons as well, he might be able to replicate some movements with a sword, but a sword can't do what a nunchuk with blades can for example, he'd still need to learn to use the weapons used in other forms to dominate the other breathing techniques fully.
Wouldn’t lightning/thunder breathing be able to make the electrical effect due to static shown around zenitsu feet kinda like when you build up static from walking around. The air vibrating would be the buildup of static.
It's just effects. All breathing techniques is just a fighting style that mimics whatever the breathing style is although that could be anything. Zenitsu isn't actually summoning lighting around him, the thunder breathing simply mimics the speed of lighting and the 'power' (I guess) of thunder. If I'm wrong feel free to correct me but I'm pretty sure this is the case
@@mikefun7482 I’m not talking about the actual attack but the effect around his feet afterwords the faster you slide your feet the more static you create and it is vis-à-vis to the point that you can rub your feet at normal human speeds on the ground and touch something that you can see a little spark of static discharge and you can feel it . His strikes don’t create anything his feet on the other hand should be discharge ing some amount if static electricity.

Hey i know this is 7 months old and I really haven't scoured this channel yet But If you haven't seen it, I think Katanagatari would also be right up your alley, if you liked Demon Slayer's art and story. Katanagatari is a 12 episode anime (55 minutes an episode) about 12 cursed blades and the quest of two people to gather them from their owners. The art is fantastic, the symbolism of each blade is deep, the story itself is based on an Edo era myth.
I think your truly amazing with it being hard to keep a spectrum of new contents and unique anime. I think it’s with it to have variety literally a good 20 percent of some anime communities are only vs battles, who more often than not will bring out ridiculously strong feats for the sake of it. Rather than proper analysis of course. I am not one for too many vs battles as I give my opinions on others opinions what do you think about a small series where you do a rewrite of the general naruto story it’s ridiculous. But this legitimately keeps me thinking after a busy day how the shinobi world in general would have ended up say we had better circumstances and naruto was raised by tsunade and jiraiya and sakura was genuinely given a chance to be a ninja as in for real. She had that potential but given it’s more attributed to early shonen jump favoring the male spectrum it’s something we can look back on to rethink ideas and theory’s that’s what I believe lol. I am also thinking of maybe covering the haruno clan dead ass they have more credit than they’re given credit for the fact that sakuras father legit worked with minato as a soldier says something oh well.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a character who knew more than one breathing form. Tanjuro knows two, it wouldnt be too unreasonable that some Hashira level swordsman mastered more than one too, in an attempt to balance the strengths and weaknesses of two or more forms. but i guess that would just become its own form.
There cannot be anyone who masters multiple breathings. The entire concept around different breathing styles is that everyone is suited for a different one. You can USE as many different styles however you can only master the one that is best suited for you.

Actually according to manga ubuyashiki mastered all breath techniques he also as 300 demon kills (this was in his very heated discussion with muzan )
My favorite part in Demon Slayer is when Muzan compares himself to a natural disaster. That is hilarious coming from the guy whose biggest threat are the sun and a bunch of people that have learned how to breathe good. I would honestly be surprised if Muzan could last ten seconds with a real anime powerhouse like Madara or Aizen.
Muzan is a coward the person who would do him in is Ichigo. Heck Zoro would have a field with his ass.

7:47 As someone who practice kendo, most people in kendo use choudan no kamae, which means their shinai is placed near the waist pointing to opponent’s throat, and thus most strikes actually comes from the waist,not the head.
People who uses Jodan no kamae would place shinai up above the head and it is a very offensive technique that give you increased range at the cost of opning up more spots for your opponent to hit (e.g. left hand is only a valid target when opponent is in a Jodan position)

In the Manga when Yorrichi is using all the 12 forms of Sun breathing Sumiyoshi States that “the breath of the sun forms were so Elegant that they took your breathe away” then he says “they were just to beautiful” But if Breathing styles aren’t actually visible why would Sumiyoshi say that 🧐
it looks like a dance thats why.
The effects aren’t real for the demon slayers, pretty sure it was mentioned somewhere but I can’t recall where I read it. Sumiyoshi said that it was beautiful because of the movements of the breathing style which resembled a dance. Hence why it was passed down (by Sumiyoshi) as the Hinokami Kagura

I created a branch of Wind breathing called Smoke breathing.
It is based on how smoke can form into plumes, clouds, shift and swirl about. So this breathing technique uses a lot of listing, shifting and unpredictable moves. The user should be very agile and have good footing plus be able to get and maintain footing quickly.
Total its got 9 forms.

Obanai actually uses the bigger Philippine/Javanese kris sword. General Indonesian kris is essentially a small wavy knife, while Philippine/Javanese kris a bigger version and more sword-like.
Well here’s the problem with that, when Rengoku was fighting Akaza, Rengoku blocked some of Akaza’s punch blast thing in the air without it touching his sword. So did it just stop? Or was the fire really there?
The fire is not there, but the effects of fire is. The elements are not produced by the styles, but the effects become real the better you are at the breathing technique.

I know the mangaka himself said It but I noticed a mistake. When zenitsu used thunder breathing during the spider family fight, tanjiro remarks that he can smell thunder so that means that thunder generates its element

I’m not sure if this was answered but if tanjiro can do sun breathing AND water breathing is he able to use other techniques since he can access the original sun breathing form?
he might but he would need to train in different type of weapons as well, he might be able to replicate some movements with a sword, but a sword can't do what a nunchuk with blades can for example, he'd still need to learn to use the weapons used in other forms to dominate the other breathing techniques fully.
Wouldn’t lightning/thunder breathing be able to make the electrical effect due to static shown around zenitsu feet kinda like when you build up static from walking around. The air vibrating would be the buildup of static.
It's just effects. All breathing techniques is just a fighting style that mimics whatever the breathing style is although that could be anything. Zenitsu isn't actually summoning lighting around him, the thunder breathing simply mimics the speed of lighting and the 'power' (I guess) of thunder. If I'm wrong feel free to correct me but I'm pretty sure this is the case
@@mikefun7482 I’m not talking about the actual attack but the effect around his feet afterwords the faster you slide your feet the more static you create and it is vis-à-vis to the point that you can rub your feet at normal human speeds on the ground and touch something that you can see a little spark of static discharge and you can feel it . His strikes don’t create anything his feet on the other hand should be discharge ing some amount if static electricity.

Katanagatari is a 12 episode anime (55 minutes an episode) about 12 cursed blades and the quest of two people to gather them from their owners.
The art is fantastic, the symbolism of each blade is deep, the story itself is based on an Edo era myth.

I think your truly amazing with it being hard to keep a spectrum of new contents and unique anime. I think it’s with it to have variety literally a good 20 percent of some anime communities are only vs battles, who more often than not will bring out ridiculously strong feats for the sake of it. Rather than proper analysis of course. I am not one for too many vs battles as I give my opinions on others opinions what do you think about a small series where you do a rewrite of the general naruto story it’s ridiculous. But this legitimately keeps me thinking after a busy day how the shinobi world in general would have ended up say we had better circumstances and naruto was raised by tsunade and jiraiya and sakura was genuinely given a chance to be a ninja as in for real. She had that potential but given it’s more attributed to early shonen jump favoring the male spectrum it’s something we can look back on to rethink ideas and theory’s that’s what I believe lol. I am also thinking of maybe covering the haruno clan dead ass they have more credit than they’re given credit for the fact that sakuras father legit worked with minato as a soldier says something oh well.
