The look at the Lebron 3 was reviewed purely because it was a 3 pointer. 3 pointers are always reviewed to make sure it was behind the line. Think of all those games where a few plays have passed, then they make an announcement that a 3 pointer was changed to a 2 pointer.

As a true Warriors and Curry fan, this was a good game. I’m glad Curry came back, but people have to appreciate these Lebron vs Curry matchups while they’re still here. We don’t know how many of these well have. Every time they face each other it’s a movie. Kudos to Lebron, kudos to Steph for making the NBA interesting, especially between 2015-2018. That Lebron 3 that was overturned was ridiculous. Refs did that same call to steph Curry this season and Max Strus in 2022 ECF. None of those should’ve been overturned.

And ejected him for it. But people said he deserved it and didn’t care that they Went back 2 plays to review a play that wasn’t called a tech or foul

the truth is that play is the only time he got fouled, it was rare for him to get those types of calls. most of the time he wasn't given any call. hence, there's a clip of draymond and Looney chirping at the refs for not giving it to curry
Warriors fan here but I was so annoyed at the refs taking long with the reviews and shot clock thing that I just wanted to get the game rolling
As a GSW fan here, I respect Lebron whose one of the best I ever seen play the game but just because I have to respect him don’t mean I have to be a fan of him. Same thing I as a Raiders fan would say about Tom Brady, Payton Manning, and Patrick Mahomes

I agree we should focus on good plays without comparing to other players as a general idea, but I personally get a little mad anytime I see that call for anybody from the 10th rotation man to LeBron. Because the Steph no calls are more than a narrative. And of course it matters if certain plays get called for some players and not for others, especially if they are a big part of said others' game. People like to say he doesn't get much fts because he only shoots 3s. Maybe it's also because they don't call it when he is fouled on those 3s. I don't need to be an expert to know that touching the arm can alter the shot completely, and the landing area has become pretty much a reccomendation when he is involved. Not to mention the off ball shenanigans. And even if you ignore all that, he doesn't get much more love inside. Even you mentioned last year that you saw a graph that said Steph gets the most uncalled contact on drives. And lastly let's not get into 'doesn't count' teritorry when both teams suffered the same circumstances. Getting close to 'Bubble doesn't count' which I'm pretty sure you disagree with... Overall I'll forgive you this time, I've had my fair share of frustration rants and usually you make more sense🤣

Jackson Hayes could be such a dangerous player if he wasnt so uncoordinated. Thought he could be "big" when he was on the Pelicans but i think that was mainly Zo's passing making him look good looking back.
Also i noticed TJD is masterful at using his nonball arm to block/swipe the defenders arm just before impact. Probably a foul in many cases but bro does it so quick you only see it on slowmo and it looks natural in real time.

I'll never say Steph doesn't get those calls, but he definitely doesn't get them as much. The only reason I don't like LeBron is his half effort and giving up in the 3rd or last quarter, and when he's clearly resting and he says he's hurt I mean why not just say you're resting. To be fair about the Davis eye injury Klay did get slapped in the face with no foul call either like you pointed out it actually made me gain some respect for AD, because of how he handled it, and played through that quarter.
But I absolutely 💯 agree with you about both the out of bounds plays.

Plays shouldn't be reviewed beyond the current action on the game. Coaches can request a review of the play, so if they didn't the game proceeds to the next play and there's no going back. LeBron did step out of bounds.

I’ve seen plenty of reversals due to reviews of 3P shots while play continues. Normally, they’re just checking if the shooter was behind the 3P line. Inside 2 min, they’d actually stop play to review 3s. They’re not reviewing random plays, just 3s.

LeBron was out of bounds on the shot. The heel of his shoe was on the white line that out of bounds on the lakers court. Also the rule is under 2min they review everything so the warriors won this game.
