Low CPU temperature, what cooler are you using?
My processor is 5800x3d and cooler Deepcool AS500, the temperature in games is 80-90 degrees
More FPS and less power usage wish it wasnt 800 quid though, gonna stick with my 3090 until the 5xxx cards come out.

You'll have to wait a long time. And the prices will not please you. The 5090 will be released first and will cost £2999, it will be 40-50% faster than the 4090.
Then the 5080 will come out at a price of 1499 pounds; in terms of performance, the 5080 will be = 4090.
And only in 2025 they will release 5070 and 5060. 5070 will cost 899 pounds and in terms of performance 5070 = 4080 super.
The 5060 will cost $499 and perform like the 4070 super.

is this between 3090 no upscaling (raw power) and 4070 ti S with DLSS ? Or is it DLSS on for both the cards?
I would imagine no dlss on either, even the regular 4070ti can compete with the 3090.

I have a 3090 and 4090 and the 4090 runs 20c+ cooler on the core and memory. The 4090 isn't a hot card, it also dwarfs the 3090 in size.
I own both as well.... The EVGA FTW3 and an MSI Suprim. EVGA did a decent job with their FTW3 3090, but the cooler on the Suprim is just a couple leagues higher. I don't think I've ever seen the Hot Spot or VRAM temps hit 70c, whereas these temps are nearly at 80c with the EVGA card. I also have the TUF 4070ti Super, and it runs cool at 30% fan speeds.
The power consumption of 3090 is crazy.
I wouldn't touch a used 3090 due to it having dual-sided VRAM which runs hot AF. Although, I have the EVGA FTW3 3090 to be fair they did a good job with that card.... but I also have a TUF 4070ti Super and it runs way, way cooler.

anything above 80% and you are probably CPU bottlenecked... like me... You're probably not using your GPU to its full potential...

Power and Heat reduction w/ the 4000 series was also a nice added bonus. I'm a bit skeptical we are going to see such a leap in performance w/ 5000 as we saw from 3000 to 4000 but I guess we'll see. I kinda felt the 4090 was the next 1080 Ti outside of the price of coarse.

They reduced the power to sacrifice fps and price got higher, worst generation except 4090 price power remain Same with big jump in performance.

3090 and 3090 ti were both scams. Negligable performance uplift and 12 gigabytes of extra vram for 300-800 dollars more. Sure, they weren't exactly "made with gamers in mind" but nvidia could 100% add more performance, they just maximized profit (which I can respect but still)
