Greetings sir, please assist me with link to purchase the full test kit(on site clamp, and ideal circuit tester). Hope it can be sent to me here in Nigeria
it is good to be able to find the upper most receptacle, especially when you have a receptacle with partial voltage. If you can find the last one in line on the circuit that is getting full voltage, that is the one where, more than likely, you lost the neutral leg feeding the rest of the receptacles in the line. I'm glad I'm getting to see this thing in action. The next time I have the money to throw at one, I want to get it. I like troubleshooting circuits!
I have the Ideal circuit breaker finder. I've used it a few times. You have to go over the circuit breakers several times for it to tune in to the correct circuit, but it works. I don't really like the rocker switch for power, though. too likely to get turned on in the carry bag, and the access to the battery compartment could be tool less like most battery compartments are. but it works okay.
I hate to ask but if u can rePost this video I would be forever grateful “Find the Most Upstream Receptacle and Install a GFCI Receptacle to Protect Downstream Receptacles”
I use a klein ET310 digital circuit tracer. And man its and AWESOME tool, but your video may of just turned me onto the ideal kit, im going to ask a few sparkies to see if any have it so I can test drive it! Cheers
Very nice competition and I would love to be in . Lots of tools and equipment that makes electrical engineering very enjoyable. . Our country we as an individual electrical technician you can not afford all this tools and equipment. Lots of shortcuts. If you have am multimeter you are way ahead. But most of our technician have phase tester 🤣 only for trouble shooting . The rest is God be with you in your fault findings .
Lol same here, I spent some time working with a ceiling fan company, and I was tasked with troubleshooting the fans. Most of them had bootleg grounds, and they don't even use wirenut or connectors, just tape lol.
I need to watch this but I need to track this latest word I just got Taiwan has U.S. troops setting up and expecting alot of soldiers ..its such a hard toss up to watch first ..May God bless us all ..love the show
I have never heard of a bootleg ground before today, probably because my focus is industrial, but you would think shit like that would be a general "hard pass" from anyone professional
They were using the testing devices to discover where the wires were behind the wall. They need both knowledge of the testing devices and general wiring knowledge. But they didn't do any actual wiring in this contest.

Yes, if I can find it on a hard drive. I'm not sure the older videos still exist. I can always make another video though.
Sparky Channel your the best - so very grateful to you
I was just about to ask the same question

Which tester is best to use for burnt connections that's about all I ever find 90% of the time?
Use a thermal imaging camera or use a multi tester and you should pick up most problems when measuring the zs or carrying out an insulation test
I was wondering why the LED readout was flickering. I never really thought of that!
It doesn't flicker in Person.
@@randyaivaz3356 I realize that. LED's don't show up well in videos
I hate that a meter just don’t come with Magnet already on it I hate when we have to hold them
I agree!
Do they make receptacles in blue?
Nice
I’d love to buy some of these testing devices. Can you please tell me what exactly they are???
Yes, links are in the video description.
WHO Makes the best test equipment?
Fluke, Klein, and Ideal are the ones that I use.
@@SparkyChannel THANKU AGAIN SIR
He didn’t even have to take the breakers off the panel to check for continuity

Wonder of the sure Trace circuit tracer can be used to find wires Underground conduit underground and how deep if able to do so?
I’ve used it to find circuits underground.
@@grk25922 how deep?
Bubba Brazil I was tracing UF cable. It was about 12 inches
@@grk25922 wonder if you can use it to find coins and diamond rings, etc. in the dirt/sand?
What happened to your old videos? I was a subscriber once but it looks like ur old videos were deleted... :)

Is this a meme channel?
No. :)
I'm not convinced either
