    *Unlike the original album and the live concert recordings, you can actually hear Bob very well on this... You can really hear why he got the gig...*

    To clear this up, on Love Live Rock n Roll, bob daisley only plays bass on sensitive to light, kill the king , and gates of babylon. Ritchie played bass on the whole album plus the first 6 tracks of the rough mix

      @@sergejmiladinovic1181 i thought Rainbow Rising's bassist was Jimmy Bain?

    • @sergejmiladinovic1181
      @sergejmiladinovic1181 3 года назад

      @@ilhamakbar5482 I stand corrected. Ritchie *wrote* the basslines for some but not all the songs on Rising. The rest were written by Jimmy Bain and all of them played by Bain.
      On the album Long Live Rock and Roll, Ritchie wrote and this time also played the bass on several tracks. The rest were written and played by Bob Daisley.
      I don't know which basslines on Rising were written by Blackmore. Because Bain played all of them, it's hard to find out.
      But for Long Live, Blackmore wrote and played bass on the title track, Lady of the Lake, L.A. Connection, The Shed and Rainbow Eyes.

      Given that there's no audible guitar on this recording, I assume that it's Blackmore on bass. Saw Rainbow on this tour in 78/79 and Daisley was (and still is) awesome.
