Boys i will get one for 1000 swiss franks. It‘s an manual one. But it has 300‘000 Kilometers on it. But so far perfect condition. Should i take it? It is a fucking dream
Great video! I bought my '95 new and it's been my only car since then. I love it and drive it almost every day. Perfect for zipping around Los Angeles and I haven't made a car payment since 2000. 😁
just got me one from 95 as well, with only 98k miles on the clock, very solid car with a good clutch, and good gearbox, (manuel ofcourse) i'll difinitely recomend it.
I just snagged one being sold locally and I was the first one to show up within minutes of him posting it online. 94 vtec manual with 160k miles! In great condition for $2700. Woohoo! Did I get a good deal?
I have a black '93 Si, original owner. The aux lights only go on when the headlights are on. Probably not broken...I once had the same confusion after having not used them for awhile.
I love the review videos. Interesting note... I also thought those were an aftermarket stereo, but after seeing some pics on line, I feel there was a "high end" radio offered instead of the basic civic radios of the day. The 94 my son just bought has this exact same radio, as do many pics I have seen.
The Del Sol is not for you if you only look at the transmission. I have both Manual and Auto and they are both one side of the same coin. Having both allows me to enjoy the same car in a different way as well as future proofing myself to still enjoy the Delsol in the future no matter the traffic conditions, foot/leg injury or age.
Obviously everyone wants a manual, but it’s pretty easy to see that the 1.5 litre non v Tec is not going to like or “made for” being red lined! Lol 🇨🇦👍🏻
@Jayden Francois Not really. The only time it left me stranded was when the timing belt snapped but I had that coming as it was the factory one and the car had 150+ on it, other than that it's never let me down.
Takafumi Arisawa the lights in the inside don’t come on and my headlight goes out too I’ve changed everything and still nothing I sold it and brought a other one that one has no problems
Hey, I thought the 95 Del Sol Does not have a Cabin Air Filter. That's what my mechanic told me. And I looked it up and it says it does not have a Cabin Filter. Some guy is trying to convince me it does have a cabin filter. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Auto. 😅😅😅 i have a 95 si vtec dohc manual. 126,000 miles roughly n a 97 si vtec sohc manual with 69,725 miles also manual. Fucka automatic transmission ddl sol.😅😅😅😅😂😂
I own one, know all the features but still watched the whole video. Love these cars, and great review!
Aeonian I want to buy it , how much you want ?
Found one on Facebook marketplace, he says it don't have a muffler, at $1300 should I risk it?
@@milwaukeemike3557 definitely
I have a 93 si 1.6 sohc vtec. It's quick but not fast. Fun to drive tho.

I had this car 22 years ago...and I can not believe I am thinking of buying it again... thought there would be something better since then... nope.
i had a del sol also for 10 years and friday i picked up my honda del sol esi-e from 97 ;) so happy...next to my honda coupe:))
I’m looking for one as well. I had a 93 back in 99

I`ve got a Del Sol from `96, the 1.6 esi targa.
It has 121000 km on the counter, and runs smooth like brand new.
i bought a honda del sol friday:))) its an 97 esi-e :) and now just have to get the license plate because i imported it:))
great video. liked how he took the time to show all the features of the Del Sol.

Same but just swapped the engine for a b18c1 and ufff does it take off original engine was nice and smooth but once I put that 6 speed I was so happy
Forgot to show the Engine Bay but good job.

Hey brother, I have a Jeep question for ya. Do you have preferred way I can contact you?
Nice car. Leave it as OEM as you can and it will age gracefully and grow in being desirable.
I am buying one tomorrow,i cant wait,i love these cars
Did you?
Hello bro where did you get your rear trunk spoiler?
Nice and clean
Well done! Great full review! Thank you! Btw, that Del Sol is CLEAN! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇨🇦
Best review on yt
Clean car. Needs a valve adjustment. Not that difficult to DIY.
Good work - give me the information i needed
Man I have the exact same broken corner edge of my cigarette lighter piece. I’m guessing that was common?
I'm lucky I have the sir and vxi both v tec , wonderful cars, worth every penny future cars x
Have you got automatic sunroof?
I stopped watching as soon as I saw that it was an automatic. Clean del sol though other than the janky spoiler

Yup i bailed when i saw this comment lol
Very nice review. Thank you. I may be buying one tomorrow so I'm just learning about the Del Sol line.
Get rid of that spoiler, get S2000 black leather seats & 3sdm 0.05 16x8 wheels & it's perfect for me Black looks great !!!
How reliable are the automatic ones? Any common issues to look out for?
Super reliable.
I have been driving one for about 5 years and it has never failed me.
@Jayden Francois Not really. The only time it left me stranded was when the timing belt snapped but I had that coming as it was the factory one and the car had 150+ on it, other than that it's never let me down.
@Jayden Francois it’s a Honda… all you do is replace the belt and check the oils….
I own a 95, with b16a3, its a blast to drive...
I have a red one but I’m having electrical problem
What kind though.
Takafumi Arisawa the lights in the inside don’t come on and my headlight goes out too I’ve changed everything and still nothing I sold it and brought a other one that one has no problems
@@mendoza19751 Welp that usually does the trick hah. it probably had faulty wiring or someone messed with the loom (used car blues).
5speed stick shift is fun to drive it hugs the road
Can't beat the Del sol
Nice I thinking get one for international country I do own stickers for back outside

It's an automatic NOOOOOOOO!
I would like to know what the 1998 it’s called then? Maybe you should do your homework...😁
Your info is not correct!
Which part(s) did they get wrong? Have a 96, seems like everything was right to my knowledge
I have one also... just love it... Classic.
They're nice cars they're just way too small for me and I'm only five seven
