I don’t recall ICT saying Cam needs to wait for a closure before finding that FVG. The way you said you prefer to execute in the second half of your video I believe is how ICT explained it to his son. So I believe you both agree. At least that’s how I understood his explanation

So you could have a trading strat / model that uses a 15 min fvg w a swing high as the same draw every time as used in example 1, drop down wait for displacement below a low or high on the 30 second then enter off a fvg targeting the 15 min fvg as tp? so basically the 1st example would be the only draw on liq you need for a model and then repeat?
if i use m15 -> m1

2:59 we do not have to wait for the down candle to close, just to trade down when it opens, then we drop. So you might have been able to trade the first 30s fvg as well.

good video! can you explain on example 2 the sweep? on 5m chart it doesnt look like a sweep or are you basing it off the 15m chart?
This has been my model for the last few months as it provides a consistent return day over day, very interesting to see his son does the same. I go down to the 15s at times
Thanks for telling us this. Helps to know which strategies work consistently. I’m still trying to find one that works for me. I think I’ll give this one a go. Do you do a 1 to 1 ratio as well or do you target liquidity levels?
@@krystaljohnson8258 my personal stop is 12.5pts, or $250. So I try to aim for that or better. This morning I took 24 points, I mainly look for the easiest, achievable targets. So around 15-20pt return on average.
I first traded m5 sweeps and 15s entries little over a year ago, definitely a solid strategy!

Thanks for the amazing video, so well explained. I have a question about the 5min stop raid. Let's say the strategy would be purely mechanical. Would you have it as a rule that the up close 5m candle has to form right after the stop raid candle? Or can it be like a third or fourth candle? Thanks!
That would be up to backtesting and what works for you

what I'm wondering is why in your last example did you enter short before price displaced back into the previous range? couldn't it have printed bearish price action on the lower timeframes until completing a move down to the previous range's high, then based on the previous range's high, printing a higher low, and then pushed to make a new high from there?

Thanks for the amazing content! One question on the 1st trade you only target the 1st +FVG on the 15m chart. Why did you choose that instead of the 2nd? Was this simply because it was the closest target and price may have indeed gone lower to the +FVG below it? Thanks!

I do it during killzones
For models like these, because it's so simple, it would be great to see both sides of the trades - when it works and when it doesn't work. So, now only we learn what to do, more importantly we learn what NOT to do. I can see that if one trades this blindly without bias, higher time frame analysis, etc, the win rate is probably quite low.
Yeah will definitely look at adding that stuff in in future videos.

With all due respect, to both your opinion and TTrades' teachings...you must be missing A LOT of you think his teachings are not great. Yea, he's not a great teacher, his videos can be long. But to those with the dedication, determination and endurance to take notes and sit through what ICT says, he lays all out on paper. There is no ambiguity.

Seriously, getting through his content is an absolute slog. In an hour long video, maybe 15 minutes is actually relevant and the rest is just ego fueled rambling. His concepts are great when taught by someone who can actually teach.

is not the model similar to the MMXM model ? Because after the sweep on M5 down to the 30Sek chart, you can see the original consolidation and aim for this.
It is supposed to take place during the silver bullet so the entry should be between 10am and 11am
I personally dont focus on silver bullet time zones

It really depends on time and what phase price is in, if price is expanding, retracements are likely to be shallow. It really comes down to managing risk
