Big up Hektikal for having one of the best channels going, to Bandog & Killa Instinct for hitting so hard, particularly with this track, to all of the old school UK artists who've given me decades of listening pleasure, & to all of the ageing B-Boys still representing! ✊✌
British hip hop used to be full of character and hardcore lyricism unlike these days. Now it's about trying to convince people they real gangsters who sell crack. That was 80s Bronx NY style. Nowhere near the awesomeness of crews and tracks like this 🎧🎤☮️☯️
Spot on. No social media back then & UK acts rarely appeared on TV, so nobody knew or cared what artists looked like. All about getting down over dope beats. This has always been a favourite 👌💥💥
Beautiful British hip hop from way back...the Media would have you believe there was no good hip hop in Britain until God knows when when the truth is British hip hop was always good...
Britcore was amazing back in the early 90's I was only into Native Tongues,DITC,Wu Tang Clan,Hobo Junction,Gangstarr,Blackmoon,Hieroglyphics,Project Blowed,Western Hemisphere,Krs One,Digable Planets and Boogiemonsters. But I got into Britcore about 1995, Gunshot,Blade,Killa Instinct,Silver Bullet,Overlord X,Son Of Noise,Lewis Parker and Krispy 3 were amazing.
@@wandererkenshin7557those Brits were going from at least late 80s...n you forgot Demonboyz, MC Duke, London posse and Hijack amongst others... The Brotherhood was a fairly solid effort from beginning of the 90s...
@@tobewills2665 Liked Hijack production but did not like any of the Rappers they rapped like Americans. Brotherhood were decent and London Posse were excellent I also liked Overlord X and Son Of Noise.
@@wandererkenshin7557 if you have never seen it, check "Bad meaning good" uk hip hop doc, 87, wore out my VHS from the time lol...saw Westwood around then when nobody knew him, saw blade and silver bullet live 89' dope. IMO Blade was one of strongest talents, n still stands the test of time. 4 wall's is so dope...
@@tobewills2665 I will check it out bro been listening to Britcore since 1995 I know that I am a few years late on the scene. I saw Killa Instinct live in York 1995 - 96. My friends have seen Blade and Gunshot live back in the early 1990's and also met up with them.
I just want to thank them for some of the best tunes ever made my teens would not have been the same without this crew. I had all the 12's me and Woody blasting this from my Mrk 1 fiesta. What happened after penultimate sacrifice?
That was my mate Rog' in the middle. The DJ from Killa Instinct. Still got all the 12's, the first 'signed' white labels they did and the album. Big respect.
