Was introduced to Gunshot by Blade the first time I was buying records from him and we went and listened to them that night too, a magical gig. Thank you for everything you did for the Gothenburg hip hop scene. Without the British hip hop, what we did in Gothenburg, would have sounded like any American hip hop. Such a great song, love it!

Thank you all for your contributions to the early UK Hip Hop days and beyond. Never forgotten part of my youth going into my teen years and well into adulthood. I first met Danny at a rave Mc (Ian 'Livewire') friends shared flat in Walthomstow some years back and didn't realize who he was at first but thought i recognized him. It took a couple of hours or so and discussion on past hip hop and a nod from one of his mates when i reeled off a few early british acts and i mentioned 'Gunshot' 😂 😆 😂 Matey nodded in his direction,the penny finally dropped as Danny's face broke out into the biggest grin 😁 😁 😁 😄 😄 I knew I'd seen him from somewhere but it took about 3 hours to finally twig who it was and i was pretty gonsmacked. This 'original bad bwoy' was drinking a cup of tea and wearing his slippers 😂😂 having joined our after party after we'd all been raving all night and decided to join us from his room above yet we were all still off our nut naturally which must have been quite entertaining for him to see quietly drinking his cup of tea and sober. I'll never forget that moment though. Very down to earth and humble guy. No ego whatsoever 😉👌 I'm now a 'young at heart' 50 and apprieciate this whole bitd era. May they all RIEP 🙏🙏🙏❤
Absolute legend, remember seeing them back in the day. Sick of going to HH jams nowadays and never hear him mentioned when they are doing the RIPs, let alone ever hearing them play a Gunshot tune! This track is Great testimony to his influence on the UK scene! Not forgotten by the real heads!
