This is one of the best interviews of mila's. I think that it was funny about her " not trusting vs. trusting" the editing. lolol. She has no say in the editing. THey dont care what she thinks about it. SHe's there to play a character.
Her part as Lily is the only good role she's ever played so far in her career. Why is she being given crappy roles now, like in the new sci-fi film "Jupiter Ascending" where she's playing a kind of stupid Bella Swan type of character?
She was perfectly cast in Black Swan, but it wasn't a particular difficult role. She also had top notch material to work with, as the film is exceptionally written, directed, and shot, and the other actors so talented. While her role was critical to the film, she's barely in it, and didn't have to do much. If we're being completely honest, she's been type cast a lot and doesn't have that great an acting range. It feels like she plays herself to an extent in every movie. She gets by on good looks and charisma. If she truly wanted to be taken seriously as an actress, she could have developed her acting chops and been more selective with movie roles. I'm guessing she wanted to make money while there was money to be made, even if it meant relying on her sex appeal and taking insipid roles. I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing in her position. She's lucky to have such a long career in this industry with a very minor talent.
