I was very late to the Engine OS party and only bought my Prime Go this time last year. In that past year ive seen a tonne of great updates. I think what Denon have going with Engine OS is brilliant and the dedication to evolving the platform is commendable. Keep the updates coming!! P.s. the next prime Go gen really really really needs to be USB C, no brick.
@slimshady3204 use your engine in app on PC or Mac that you use to transfer music on your hd, it should ask to download the stems plugin only once, then you'll see a stems folder drag drop there or highlight your tracks and right click, choose as stems. Look at the progress bar at the bottom and wait til complete. Then pack transfer over. Depends if you have the music on your drive as mines was packing in the process cause music was already on my hd. ruclips.net/video/B_CXkzoFNpk/видео.htmlsi=g2GIzIs5ShUgF8kG
@@djdontgetcooked I verified it works fine if I export library to my USB or the internal drive on the player. So, basically can't use stems using computer as a source, good to know :)
I think mines did it that way ..days ago I'll find out tonight when i come in..I couldn't get mines to work like they instructed.. took me 4 days to render almost 20,000 tracks and another day w some more tracks I had of over 3,000. And that's w a amd 7. So I hope it works .I'll be pissed if I have to start over 😅
I say bull. Got the pro plus. Downloaded the desktop and the os Nothing but seratos demo stuff imports. No music at all. Did this procedure 3x's i say engine is far behind Everyone else. What a mess. 1 time my beatsource came thru in Spanish. What ?
@keithdodd3570 no sir ,must be your PC I did over 19000 tracks took me 4 days and I did another hd I didn't check yet but the USB stick is working,I just checked on my SC live 4 and about to do a live w them in a few
The only time you will ever need to use a computer is when you use the Engine DJ desktop app to analyze your music and generate the stems. Then you export that to a USB stick, or like I do it, the internal drive on your gear, and then it will be available for use on your hardware. Thus this solution is standalone and does not require a use of a computer when mixing. If you are talking about a mobile app then you are stupid. A mobile device does not have the processing power to allow for the rendering of stems.
@@brunsvigafezo I figured it out. You don't need internet you just have to convert the tracks to stems using EngineDJ Software. I chose my songs I wanted to convert in EngineDJ then once made into stems exported them using the file manager inside of EngineDJ pro to my NAS drive. Then I just plugged in my NAS drive to my Denon SC-Live2 and after the update to 4.2.0 I now have stems! Works nice but wish I had real time steams like I do using SERATO and my REV5.
Will it be possible in the future to stream the stems just like the tracks themselves directly from the EngineDJ PC desktop software to the hardware player without having to export them to a USB drive first?

bro, they didn't have to do this. They could have made it a prime 4 + exclusive, they could have made it a subscription model, they could have charged 100 bucks for this. I don't mind spending 10 bucks to permanently have something game changing like this and neither does everyone else.
Thanks engine os/ Denon for the update we needed this !

@@slimshady3204 that means it's done no need too , just buy the one time fee to unlock stems and and try it

Thanks a lot for the info….. been looking all over for this.💯👍🏿
thank you denon! I will gladly give you my money 🥰
Im just extremely thankful its not a SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE... would have been sad
Are the stems going to be available on Tidal tracks?
No
Fantastic! Tested it on Numark Mixstream pro and my SC6000ms. Fantastic just fantastic. I would only wish for Mixstream pro getting beat jump controls
Does this work on your SC6K connected over the network to engineDJ as the source?
@ no. Just usb

Did all the steps, still not working on Mixstream Pro Go. Why?
@GLeNNBLaKK same here i got it 2 days ago. Importing my serato doesn't work. I put in a ticket w/ support.
Can we render and export stems straight to our external drive from the computer, skipping storing the stem data on the computer?

@blackistheword7 yes sir. I will be back at it tomorrow. My pc is new with serato pro only. Peace.
You can render stems directly on an external drive by opening the drives pane and creating stems directly on the removable drive
Can we get a dedicated stems app. I don't like laptops
This is all bult-in to the Denon devices, you don't need a laptop for any of this.
@hardkore360 no I'm sure you do, really sure

Is this going to be available on mac desktop?
Also change the wave forms to rgb.
Thank you.
No
Customizable waveform color would be a great QoL improvement. The blue/green/white junk makes some markers hard to see.

$10

So if you bought two SC6000M and the 1850 mixer you have to pay 10$ but if you have Prime 4+ its free, huh?
They promised stems to the prime 4+ a while ago when it first dropped, that was the incentive to buy it at the time
