I know, that is kind of funny. What the's point of the rankings even existing? And how is A&M even ranked, they just fired their coach and they're coming off a 6-4 season. They should be unranked. And yet they're favored. But that's just gambling. And the rankings are stupid, and pointless. That's why we have a playoff now. Gotta beat A&M in any case, upset or not.
@@Joeyjojoshabbadoo if you knew what you were talking about. A team gets 3 points for being a home team. Their coach was bought out by people outside the football program. 6-4????????? They only played 10 games??????

This could go either way. However, I'll pick ND to pull this out in a defensive slugfest. Expect a blocked punt, or interception return for a touchdown, or kick return TD that is the difference in the game. 24-20
Tyler making TAMU D sound like the ‘85 Bears. If the analysis of the A&M DL is 75% accurate, with the inexperience at OL for ND, I don’t see anyway ND wins. Fortunately, I’m going with the angle that Tyler is somewhat overselling TAMU D… and I’m not saying they do t have a great D-Line. But I’m not going to buy into the fear factor that he’s selling. He makes it sound like the only way ND has positive plays on Offense, is if TAMU makes tons of mistakes that Leonard & all can capitalize on.
You probably could have ended the video once you mentioned the young and inexperienced offensive line for ND. That told me everything I needed to know about how the game will most likely go. I don't think they will be able to tame that D line for A&M
The whole game, in my estimation, comes down to ND's OL. If ND's OL is credible, I like ND's chances to win ... perhaps win comfortably. But I can't lie that I'm worried about ND's OL v A&M's DL, which should be really good. It is an unfortunate matchup to open the season, especially with breaking in a new QB. Just is. ND fans who are not concerned are just whistling past the graveyard, imo.

ND's extremely inexperienced OL is about to open on the road with a new QB against a team with a really good DL. I'm not so much of a homer that I have to pretend there are no worries. Not saying ND will lose. Just expressing -- as a fan and alum -- that I can view this all objectively. This is what it is. Hope it works out well. Hope ND wins. Hope ND romps.
Of course the immediate counter-factual example was this past Saturday with a much lower-ranked GT pulling out a win over FSU, and that was on a neutral field, not home turf. The A&M game is a pick-'em with A&M's 2.5 points from home field advantage and an otherwise very close statistical tie from the standpoint of quality, injury and tendency. ND has a depth advantage in a couple of places, but not enough to say it is overwhelming, and importantly not in the OL. Fully expect Guerby Lambert to be called upon in an emergency and then you have virtually all Frosh and Soph on the OL. 🤫
Expect some procedural penalties and missed assignments on offense. Bama had a better line last year than we have now and they had those issues. Bama was able to adjust and quick throw A&M to death. Unfortunately the Aggies have fixed their DB issues so I don’t see much success with doing what Bama did. Idk. How does an offense with a young line move the ball? Those dudes on A&M’s d-line are legit w/at least 3 first and second rounders anchoring it.
They do that because its better to pick them to lose and they win then to pick them to win and they lose.. ppl don't hold you as accountable when you go that route ..but call it wrong once and they lose and your credibility is ruined as a reporter lol
I call it the “emotional hedge”…they professionally win if they’re right and emotionally win if they’re wrong (cherry on top: they can make more content/money if ND wins)
Why? I mean, shouldn't anyone make a prediction based on what they think instead of just going with the team they cover? I, personally, respect honesty.
