I bought a erevo 2.0 a few years back and loved it so I bought me a revo 3.3 about 10 months ago and love it too so much I bought myself a second revo 3.3 i now have 6 nitro vehicles in my 28 truck collection and hope to reach 100 vehicles in a few years
I bought one when the 3.3 came out a few years ago. Broke it in, took it out for it's first main run and the con-rod snapped. Sent it back for a refund!
you probably dont care but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all of the latest series on instaflixxer. Been streaming with my brother recently xD
I miss your vids… I think I’ve watched them all by now lol I’ve a revo 3.3… I’m fitting it with a 16t clutch bell and a losi 3.4 carb because I can’t get it over 40mph I’ll see how it goes and try get a video of it on RUclips
Love nitro too but seeing all the crap you have to bring with you reminds me why I went brushless. Traxxas makes nitro as easy as possible I think but still. I’m debating on a T Maxx cause that was my first RC 20 years ago. My dad got an E Maxx and I loved the reliability and ease of use. Just not the short run times but now with high capacity lipos it’s ok.
@@556andy makes tuning much easier, especially low end. Also adds some power the losi carb is 1mm bigger. The stock carb is the same as a 2.5 so it's a little small for the 3.3. The losi carb is better quality doesn't crack as easy.
I was thinking about getting that and put in my Savage to the side until I can get parts one day what do you think about the revo compared to the Savage thanks
The condition of the spur gear and drivetrain plays a massive role in the performance of these 2 speed cars - my advise would be to take out the transmission and tighten up your spur gear to a point where it’s hard to turn by hand but not to hard. As for your engine - plenty of tuning guides on YT - my principal is if it sounds good, produces plenty of blue smoke and has good performance then you’re good to go
Great video very sharp and the image stability is great. I'm looking for a new camera to start making videos again. What camera are you using in this video?
Put long travel rocker arms in the rear you will have a lot more fun and it'll be faster and quicker and pull wheelies unbelievably quicker check out RC snow blazers
Karl Martin Aaseboe tbh, the 4.6 engine is a good engine but it does have its problems... overheating mainly even on a great tune and a good fuel. I personally have not had any overheating issues with the 3.3 engine
@@kariuskarl Savage ultimately is a bigger truck with a bigger engine. I would go for the savage since they are more capable because they are bigger. I own two of them and they are fun trucks but can be a bitch to perform maintenance on
I Love my Revo, it marked my long awaited return to R/C. And I’ve always been a Monster Truck fan. I have one question for this driver, how the heck did he keep his front wheels down? I’ve driven mine in that exact type of terrain, and it nearly always goes up! Damn it’s strong.
Hmm I’d like a REVO 3.3 just because they are so simple to use, The trx3.3 seems easy to tune and run and I’ve had it in a jato, and the ez start. And high ground clearence. Pretty cool 👍. They seem hard to find now. Might have to find a good shape used one on eBay or something

That thing ran great! I may get one of these some day
It’s a fun truck - love the sound! I prefer my next level Kyosho buggies though

Awesome truck but you need some jumps !!!
Did you have the tsm active? If so how did it feel?
2 speed indeed👌 music to the ears💥💨💨💨💨
Fifth Scale Or Bust Rc Absolutely!! Love that sound 👏🤝💥🔥⛽️🚀

good stuff👌
Love the 3.3 when its running well, this one is ripping. My Jato is a nightmare

Losi 3.4 carb works wonders on a 3.3
savagenoob what does it improve ??

savagenoob does it help reduce high temps or no cause mine has problems with high temps
Gear shift sounds great 👍
Lawrence Timme Thanks 🤝 I love that sound!!
Thank you so much
Revo 3.3💪💪💪
Qwhith 🤜🤛💥🔥⛽️🚀
Very nice!
Where the unboxing video? nice video anyways your channel so gonna start ballooning like the savage wheels
daily riden horses I already had this car in my collection before starting RUclips- it’s not new 🤝💥🔥⛽️🚀
I spy a BMX track in the background there. 😯

I was thinking about getting that and put in my Savage to the side until I can get parts one day what do you think about the revo compared to the Savage thanks
Any tips for that acceleration, have been messing with the tune and spur gear, but just lacks low end but good top end

This or hpi savage x new model
I have a good amount of oil that comes out the exhaust. Is this normal or still running to rich?
It is running rich on the low end
I’m stuck between tmaxx 3.3 or revo 3.3….
Great video very sharp and the image stability is great. I'm looking for a new camera to start making videos again. What camera are you using in this video?
I've got gas RC by Vinny Thanks!! iPhone 11 Pro
Thank You.
You dont have a high temp problem?? Cause mine runs pretty rich and still gets up to 280 F
Not really, I measure more by performance rather than temperature after break in
INNGOT RC EXPERIENCE I tried to do that too but if i tune for performance temps tend to go as high as 290 F
Curly GNR as long as the engine sounds good and blue smoke I’m happy
@@556andy You're temp gun may be off , get some new batterys. Or like he said if it sounds good AMD is throwing out smoke run it
For some reason my revo 3.3 when ever I hit the brakes it turns off I don’t know why but I need some help
Idle speed gap is to low - turn idle speed screw clockwise a full turn
@@inngotrcexperience6716 I did that it is all the way in but still dies
Your clutch shoes inside the bell housing might be bad. I had a similar problem with my old revo

Hey man! I can’t get my tmaxx classic to shift into 2nd gear! I’ve tried everything the spur is tight, so I don’t know I’m lost!
If it’s not shifting at all and staying in first gear - try turning the set screw inside the cap on the transmission box 90 degrees anti clockwise

Try a richer high speed maybe
Lower it mine wheelies alot unless I run the a arms straight or lowered if that makes sense
Same with tmaxx 3.3
I was running looser slipper clutch for this vid as I didn’t want it spinning out all the time 😀 a tighter slipper means wheelies
shes rippin bro the asbo bunch in the background keeping their eye on ya lol
Simon Parr Thanks!! LOL
Is it still worth it to buy this from traxxas in 2020? What do you think?
Yes, part support is great 👍
Next... losi DBXL gas 😁

What's the difference between the revo 3.3 and the Tmaxx 3.3?
