Correction 1: Quantum computers, entanglement, superposition or anything else related to the topic, does not prove the existence of parallel universes. Correction 2: In the double split experiment, it's creating a different pattern then expected because individual quantum particles can exist as a wave, and thereby interact with itself, creating a wave pattern on the wall behind. The detector is destroying this wave by trying to measure it.
It’s a fun theory but completely unprovable. The fact is that light behaves like a wave anyway, we still see the interference pattern with just one narrow enough slit due to diffraction. Your explanation of the physics left a lot to be desired
@@nang88 This is also an older video, we've obviously gathered a lot more data over the years, and no closer to providing Everetts many worlds. And photons acting like a wave makes a lot more sense then the particle somehow "knowing" it could have taken a different path and so being pushed off course by something spontaneously appearing and disappearing at that moment. (Don't bother mentioning vacuum states because energy needs to be conserved)
isn't the outcome of the double slit experiment caused by the wave properties of light which causes interference? did a presentation on this back in 8th grade so idk bro
okay just looked into it a little, as you said if you shoot photons (or electrons) by themselves one by one without anything else that should influence the trajectory, they still behave like waves which would cause interference, thats why its so fucked up
@@chingler802 the issue we are not "just seeing" we are doing an action an interaction to see which could affect it like for example petting your cat and expecting to purr or not .. the petting itself could have tampered with your cat making the cute purring sound I hope that makes sense also, never heard of a physician using this analogy to show parallel universe (let alone prove something which's still theory), he's probably quoting Dr. David Deutsch from 1994 (old stuff and opinionated world of physics moved so far in the 28+ years)
@@chingler802, unfortunately not quite. Your argument is actually circular. You explained that the outcome of Young’s experiment demonstrates wave-particle duality because said particles have wave-particle duality but that doesn’t explain what causes that to be the case. With that being said unfortunately wave-particle duality is inexplicable by classical mechanics, because classical mechanics defines physics as definite and measurable. Young’s experiment and observations however, actually display that the positions of maximas and minimas are inherently probabilistic (not definite), which unfortunately means we need quantum mechanics to explain it (and some of those explanations like superpositions are included in the video).
You should have stressed on the word "Interpretation". The many-world interpretation is an interpretation of the quantum mechanics, but it doesn't prove that there is a multiverse. Also, the double slit experiment doesn't have anything to do with the many-world interpretation. The double slit experiment only demonstrates the probabilistic nature of quantum mechanics. The photons from the many worlds can't interact with each other. Think about it. If the energy from the infinite photons from the infinite worlds is contained within those two slits, wouldn't that create a blackhole? The actual explanation is that without an observer, each spot on the wall has a probability to be hit at by a photon from the gun, and the more photons hitting that spot, the brighter it is. The pattern is just the result of the collective landing probability of the photons.
Many Worlds Interpretation (Everett) is how I got into quantum mechanics in the first place a year ago. Imagine getting drunk with your buddies and creating a whole ass interpretation of quantum mechanics lol. I think it’s important to note that the dilution fridge and cooling the computer chip to micro Kelvin is more superconducting qubits and doesn’t apply to every modality (mode or way of making a quantum computer) of quantum computing. But tbh that’s a deeper topic and I know this is an intro video, it was funny and entertaining and I appreciate you bringing the topic of quantum computing to a larger audience!
In Young's double slit experiment, the photons act as wave don't they ? The dark and bright fringes appear due to interferce pattern (well, i dont believe in every theory but this made more sense)
@@Meowzofficial I'm aware about wave particle duality, but before commenting why don't you watch the video correctly, he was talking about double slit experiment, and if you're high school pass out, you might understand this experiment proved wave nature (some experiments prove wave while some particles) and you're asking to consider it as a particle while it literally acts as a wave in this scenario
his explaination not only wrong but got nothing to do with parallel worlds he's so off the mark Quantum computing, entanglement, superposition or anything else related to the topic, does not prove the existence of parallel universes.

In fact, depending on the case, light acts like a particle or a wave, blah blah blah, De Broglie's wavelength, Schrödinger's equation, blah blah blah..."
single slit experiment also has a similar striped pattern, its not a single spot the reason is because on the 'dark spots' the waves destructively interfere with eachother since light (and matter lol) is both a wave and a particle
yeah i had to simplify it a bit soz. we had a version with me explaining all of this but feedback was that it was too complicated and the vid was gettin long so i just cut it and made the single hole be a dot bc i just wanted the point to be 1 vs 2 dots diff
@3:28 "just seeing". It's never just seeing, it's more like poking a bear with a stick and waiting to hear a growl to detect the bear's presence. (after that it's the mandatory "the previously-calm bear is now angry, act surprised!") In general, the only way to observe something is to interact with it, and that interaction can be significant enough to change the observable state of what you're trying to measure.
this vid went crazy Nang good stuff dawg. also i remember when i first learned about that photon sorcery and it's actually bananas (i'm commenting this from 4 different parallel universes btw)
Yeah anyone that states there are parallel universes, should turn in up to their bachelors degree. Like have you not got the point of science? There's the science and then there's religion. Science never explains anything, it allways just describes. Saying parallel universes exist is as religious as believeing in jesus. No evdience, nothing, just pure interpretation of existence. Specifically this video completely fails to understand the particle wave duality, it doesn't imply anything about parallel universes.
"We are in a simulation " ahhh i guess I will use the old test , ofcourse we are in a simulation just come here I will just talk to you nothing dangerous will happen

It's not parallel universes.. its just efficient 3D gaming and we are all so blind, because we are "first person" ; we think by default that means only person Why would you ACTUALLY keep track of "particles" just keep telling the players that with data that represents them. Efficiency is asymmetric. 15:17 we comprehended it many times in many ways. Words are just data, all words are metaphors. WE are the computer, but for many the best we did so far is "God" which is ironic. Lets just call it a partition or subconscious GENERATOR OF DATA that fills in what we aren't creating as the players. After all how does a game know to load/generate some level data ? you make choices which have a long tail of new outcomes, predictability.
In the part you explained parallel universe thing I was just thinking its just because how huygens said that light waves moves in form of wavelets so there are multiple particles in one wavefront so when there is 1 they goes through 1 when 2 they goes through 2 and make different pattern Just young's double slit experiment but the entire thing is actually on whole another level of physics 😂 I had a question which is really dumb -->Is qbit just a precise version of a bit ?????
I watched a yt video on a problem that quantum computers have when the bits will flip back unexpectedly. I mentioned that was probably due to quantum entanglement. Photons seem to have properties of particle and wave form simultaneously.
