Lol I didn’t realize that this movie was released in 2017! Totally fooled me with the 60’s vibe.
The look of this movie is phenomenal. i love the lushly saturated photography, and Samantha Robinson looks eerily like an actress from the late 1960s. The name of the actress escapes me now, but i can't shake thoughts of Russ Meyer and Stu Phillips.
Definitely didn't see that ending coming. Good job on the review.

They did a really good job with film and costumes making it look 1960's-1970's, I only took a second take when I saw a 2005+ BMW in one of the shots and then began looking at the other vehicles.

The message behind the plot tho… for those who believe in mystic stuff and know about divine feminine, it’s really interesting to see that even the most powerful witches (women) are imprisoned by the feeling of wanting love. In the end Elene realizes man don’t have the capacity to love as deeply as women do, and she lets her dark feminine (Lilith) take over and kills the man lol 😍

The reason i dont watch these kinds of films, they have women wanting men but treat them in generalistic simplistic terms, yet abhor the same said about them, its interesting to know the sexist comments that were made about men and still are but are not addressed ....believing in divine femininity is steeped in egotistical ideals and similar to a god complex ...men should believe in divine masculinity but people would be fearful and diminish that.....which is no different from what people act like to strong women(you make out at least)..you want love but not all that sacrifices, thinking that men lack the capacity for love as much as women , is a generalizing simplistic sexist comment, negating the human experience and individuality. I wont go out with women because ive yet to go out with one that has the same capacity as me, who would sacrifice the same things i am or see herself as an equal rather than some special princess.
