If y'all ever need some quality food recommendation, as a local, I nominate Good Taste. It's a restaurant known for their buttered chicken. Has 2 branches (I think) one behind CenterMall and another one near Rizal Park on the Northwest side of Burnham Park.
@@braianmanaguelod3013 I think almost all local tourists wouldn't try because they can see there's no wide public road and going up very narrow alleys would feel rather invasive.
You can actually distinguish a Baguio local to a tourist from Manila by the way they treat pedestrians. Baguio locals really respect the pedestrian crossings in Baguio. Plus, Baguio prides itself for having honest cab drivers. They would even give your change down to the last peso.
So true. And the *local drivers* don't needlessly blow their horns so loudly (and rudely) when caught in traffic. Plus, they only give the horn a light tap to politely acknowledge a pedestrian or a passing car.
Taenang comment yan..instead na mag comment ka nalang ng mga pwede nilang gawin or subukan mag cocomment ka ng kamaliang ginagawa ng kapwa mo pilipino..kaya hindi umuunlad ang Pinas sa mga kagaya mo.
Here are a few heads up while you guys are on Baguio. 1. The jams, and other goods can be bought in mines view for a cheaper price compared to the stalls at strawberry farm. (The prices of the jam also is different depending on the brand. Good Shepherd is the more expensive one) 2. When riding a taxi in Baguio most of them will just open the meter. Way more honest than Manila. 3. Eating at good taste is a must but you need to be patient since the serving time will take a while since there will be a lot of people.
Actually Baguio is known for their HONEST Taxi drivers... the first time I went there all the taxi drivers would always give me an exact change they don't charge extra or scam you. Baguio used to be less crowded but now it is too populated and more houses and buildings. Stay safe always.
Loved how you two went into the Baguio mountainous neighborhoods and explored. That's the best way to see the city up close. Congrats on your fun trip. Felt like I was exploring with you. Dreaming from Glendale CA.
Of all the vloggers before you, you two are the only vlogeers who gone to those steps the farthest. Hats of! to you guys. I'm from Baguio, but never been there. Done that.😂
Biscuit bois, that Valley of Colors and the strawberry farm are not part of Baguio but of the La Trinidad Valley - which is the capital of Benguet province. You must have passed by the gate of the Bell Church Temple which sits on the boundary of Baguio and La Trinidad. Geographically, Baguio is within Benguet but is a charter city. La Trinidad is the salad bowl of the Philippines as it produces a majority of highland vegetables such as lettuce (lots of varieties), snap peas, Baguio beans, carrots, potatoes, etc. It also has lots of flower farms producing roses, geraniums, carnations, etc. And La Trinidad is generally flat because it is said to be the crater of a very dormant volcano. Years ago, those mountainsides you see dotted with houses today were instead dotted with thousands of sunflowers - growing wildly. That - the wild sunflowers - was a much prettier sight.
yes. that was in the 60s 70s. half of my family is from buyagan so i’ve heard a lot from them. I was born in the 90’s so what I witnessed was when they started coloring the houses. it was pretty that time not until it started to look like a nuisance of the province because of the dirt and dog poops. not to mention the oil leaking from cars and machine shops
The best view in Baguio is in Sto. Tomas (Santo Thomas) if you know someone that has a good connection in Baguio you can visit the Radar Station on the top of the Mount Sto. Thomas. You can See all of Baguio and the Gulf of Lingayen
I love Baguio, where I spent my college days. It has a different feel compared to all other cities in the country. Life there is chill, the the weather :-)
As a guy from cebu i can agree baguio is probably the 2nd best city in the philippines if i will have a chance to travel locally in the philippines i will go to baguio
Stop comparing it to other countries. You're positioning the country as secondgrade class in that way. Call it as it is. Go to Batanes becuase it has a lot to offer when it comes to nature. Dont call it as new zealand or anything.
Glad that you already visited one of the great city here in The Philippines...enjoy your stay at Baguio..God Bless ..stay safe and take care...👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗🙂🙂🙂😍😍😍💙💙💙
nice one guys..never been there that part of baguio..tnx 4 the blog..sure you showed us pretty interesting places there...enjoying your adventure in the "city of pines"..♥️🇵🇭
since your already in Baguio , try visiting the rice terraces in Banaue it's one of the wonders of the world and mingle with the aboriginal ancestors of the Philippines
I love watching the Biscuit Boyz in Baguio vlogs. The place changed a lot since I was there. But it's always a good place to visit. When you come back there, a hike to Mount Pulag is a must. The view up there is above the clouds spectacular.
It's good to see you getting into La Trinidad but that's an outskirt you've been called Stobosa. That's not part of Baguio actually anymore. But I recommend you travel to La Trinidad since you're already there. Since you love hiking, I want you to climb up Mount Kalugong to get a vantage view of the whole valley. You're gonna love it. Thank me later.
I lived in Baguio for 5 years during my University years. My Calves are now Muscular AF especially since My morning class is on the 7th floor of a building that has no elevator and my Sleeping/Break area is the 7th floor of the library, which also has no elevator.
Lol! I grew up in Baguio! Those uphill and down hill path was a piece of cake for me back then, I am living in the US now… it is getting pretty harder to go up and down the hill every time I go home!
I'm from La Trinidad (Where Stobosa and Strawberry Farm are located) and strawberries now are ranging from 200-400 pesos per kilo depending on it's size and freshness. Well, I guess you paid for your experience. And that jam, not the best one. Next time it is better to ask from other sellers/traders before buying coz there might be a better option. Anyways, you both enjoy your stay (if you're still here). There are still a lot to see. Would recommend Mt. Kalugong if you want to see the view of La Trinidad from above.
WOW- we were just there about 3 weeks ago but we never cross the bridge and go to those steps up -thank you for showing the stairs all the way up, we never got that far. You guys are amazing.👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏❤️
Baguio is organized and upright as their mayor is a former Bureau of Investigation and Police chief with great integrity during his term. His lease reflects on how good his town is. Enjoy Baguio!
I don’t really agree with your comment though I also voted for the current mayor. Most baguio locals and Igorots have rooted self discipline in our upbringing and daily life. We have traditions that was passed along from generations to generations and to the migrants of the city as well. baguio is not all roses though, we also have bad ones among us.
Wow,I’m impressed that u went inside the neighborhood ,you guys have strong stamina climbing those steps, yes we need bridge cities!😊can’t wait for more vlogs😊👍
They are still young and energetic. If they reach the age of 50 and go back there and try it again there knees might be trembling in going down the steps.
Baguio: the definition of snazzy!😎 Couldn't agree more! The valley of colors' barking dogs also reminded me of one of your Georgia neighborhood walk vlogs haha. Excited to see more of your Baguio adventure! Biscuit bois🤘
If you are still in baguio, you should try good taste. Their lumpia is great and maybe you can try the butter chicken (much different to the Indian dish everyone expects).

The only vlogger who went on top to Valley of Colors 😅😊❤
not intimidated by the very steep climb. I don't think they got to the very top but I guess they were close.
Not even us local tourists go there. Thank you guys for letting us see what's up there 😁.
