    The first year Linus acts like he’s seen green rain before. He mentions that it will all be gone tomorrow.

    Plant as many Mahogany trees as possible before it happens. In fact, plant as many trees as you want prior to the event - there is a great chance of them reaching maturity overnight into green rain

    Here's what to expect: fiber, fiber, and more fiber

    A good tip about leafy and bushy trees, if you let them keep their moss they will make trees in a 5x5 around them grow moss faster so every bushy or leafy can make 8 wild trees grow moss faster for a nice moss farm.

    Fun fact about Green Rain I learned the hard way: If your axe is being upgraded when the green rain hits, none of the plants spawn. No small fiber, no big fiber, no special trees of any kind. I thought at least my scythe would come in handy, but no. I checked the entire map, and while the townsfolk acted the same, no trees or bushes spawned, only the moss on the regular trees. So careful upgrade planning is necessary in Summer.

    I find the green rain's filter calming for some reason.

    Thank you so much for getting straight to the point of the benefits of the Green Rain. Exactly what i needed.

    Thank you so much for this, it was very helpful. Especially the info that each mossy tree seed type looks different, that was super useful for planning the looks of my farm!

    I like how Haley is meta during the 1st year, mentioning shes never been inside the saloon before. And the day after Linus will ask you how your moss grind went.

    i thought the green rain was really creepy, especially with how the villagers reacted to it in year one. SDV is such a cozy game usually, the apocalyptic vibes were really jarring to me. I wish I had seen this video before seeing the event in game :D

    I was excited to see my first Green Rain... and didn't go talk to all the Villagers (I went gathering instead). And ALL the first year comments and behaviours are only in that first one, so now I have to start yet another farm (such a hardship - not! lol) to get the first year conversations for myself. Apparently hoarding all the items in the game isn't enough, I need to hoard the experiences too?

    I picked the worse time to upgrade my axe then... The day before the rain.

    I had this happened to me last week, we had the 1.6 update on my switch on the 4th of Nov and it happened a few days later, didn't expect it, thought there was something wrong with the switch when the screen looked green, there was loads of fibre though 😂

    I’m really enjoying your videos so far! You showed the different versions of the mossy tree, but stopped short of saying “if you plant the wrong one, just dig it up with your hoe and try again”.

    Is it true that it will cause tree saplings to immediately mature to production? Theoretically, super useful for those of us that want to change our farm layout without wasting too much time waiting for the fruit trees to mature? Do the saplings have to be placed the day before at the latest? Or can it be day of?

    • @Kitadollx
      @Kitadollx  Месяц назад +1

      Unfortunately, it doesn't work on fruit tree saplings. The details are little complicated for a comment, but you can check out the details on the Stardew wiki. Basically, common trees have a much higher chance to grow multiple stages and can reach maturity from a stage 1 seed in a single day in many cases. The seeds/saplings will have to be in the ground the day before the even to see the benefit. I like to plan ahead and start planting rows of tree seeds on the farm in late spring or early summer if I'm trying to farm up a lot of wood.
      Thanks for watching!

    It's not clear cut - It's selective cut - if you clear cutted, their would be no trees. Selective cutting means your cutting specific trees.
