Rbonney is the ONLY candidate among the 3 who answered the "how do you work to demonstrate..." You nailed it! At the beginning of my classes every academic year, I train my students to answer using ACE. Then when they get used to it, I require them to answer every question using this strategy so that when they write their essay, it’s easier for them to finish it.

If the impromptu speech has a minimum time of 3 mins, you can elaborate in your body paragraphs by citing more sources and setting more styles by giving examples or by using comparison and contrast, and cause and effect. So I think ACE method can be used in impromptu speech as well.

DR's delivery was monotone/low energy seems like she's reprimanding/lecturing.. it's not appealing to listen though she had great answer.
