Her winning strategy is that she makes sure she highlights her works /advocacy and its specifics whenever given any chance. She's making sure she's relatable to any circumstances and providing positive outlook to what she's done/facing. She doesn't just give pageant patty answers that merely sounds catchy but no details or examples.

What I like about R'bonney is that she is very specific with her advocacy. You can actually determine her authenticity of promoting such advocacy that can uplift people's lives especially those who are working in textiles to really put in their minds that recycling using excess materials can be used in other ways around. I love how she showcased herself without inhibition and she's very self-reliant. Hope her well and also hope she'll continue what she started even before she entered the pageantry. R'bonney is one of the best Miss Universe has ever produced.

I love the point when she taught children about failure and accepting failure. We always get taught (especially being in an Asian family) that we walk in this life we must always strive for excellence but we forget that in order to succeed, we may face hurdles and falter. We need to learn that it is ok to fail. We need to learn from our failures and get back up and be better.

It’s easy for R’Bonney to speak because she has lived the values that she speaks about. She talks about investing in the growth of other people. That she has done with her advocacy, not just this year before the Miss Universe pageant, but years before she even thought about running for the title. She speaks about the importance of resiliency and she has demonstrated that when she was bullied after she win the Miss USA pageant. I still wonder why many Filipinos still reject her as an authentic Miss Universe, who is a proud Filipino American.

Those are mostly the toxic Filipino fans with superficial standards on beauty. There are a lot of Filipinos who love her too, me being one of them (and a FilAm too) I rooted for her from the start and also was disappointed to see some Pinoys shading her during the competition. Some of them thought she wouldn’t get into top 10 and that her pasarela was not great. But these ppl did not notice how strong she came into the competition from day 1. They were too focused on their favorites that they were too blind to notice RBonney making the right moves. And especially during prelims, RBonney really showed everyone she was the one you should watch out for. Only the really good vloggers noticed RBonney and those were Sovereign and Brian J and everyone who put RBonney as the winner in their final leaderboards.

Thank you for posting the several closed door interviews which give an objective, much clearer comparison as to why Miss USA was crowned Miss Universe 2022. Considering the new “tranformational leadership guideline’ I am now fully convinced why Ms. RBonney Gabriel was fairly granted the title. While only one can be crowned, the top candidates were undoubtedly super beautiful/astounding, but the best total package is the winner - Miss RBonney - as the justifiably ‘best embodiment’ which gave her a clear winning edge being so classy, beautiful (looks, moves, over-all consistent, energized performance), very relatable, sincerely authentic, sweetly articulate, with dedicated universal advocacy. Also, beyond all the glam, glitter, hype - so many pageantry fans & judges believe that ‘destiny/stars align’ plays a hand, as is the case in our various fields of/in life. After all was said & done: Congratulations to the best ever MU top 3 In quite a while..

The funny thing is the people who accused her Miss USA win as being rigged gave her ammunition, a talking point and something that made her stand out in the interviews. I'm sure some of the former title holders who were judges could empathize with her and made them like her more. Perhaps without that, someone like Miss Venezuela would have edged her out and win.

I can relate to her father's story immensely! When I come to America to immigrate. I only had Mr. QuIncy Adams (100 Hundred Dollars) inside my wallet. So mine was way bigger, LOL. I followed and worked hard for my American Dream, and now I am an American Citizen! that was 10 years ago! ANYHOW, the new management of MISS UNIVERSE looks pretty transparent, making the pageant very interesting and exciting! Transparency is honest!

see? she deserves it....awesome communication skills which is a given but very intelligent and smart answers....she is already doing her platform and not just saying it and that is the difference...she is very conscious of her environment and willing to help other people....she came well prepared....just like Catriona Gray....it is really her time and her crown.....perfect representative for WOMEN EMPOWERMENT.....

      🥀🇺🇸🥀
Her gown is absolutely beautiful! It was amazing when she revealed that she made it herself, explaining why the clouds had been painted on the ruffles. I thought it was really great that her incentive to teach women of domestic violence how to sew. She, herself, began 13 years ago. She'll be incorporating it into her Miss Universe role. Down to earth person that did in fact deserve to have earned the title!

Im impressed by her answer to the question “Why is Miss Universe still relevant today”.
Typical beauty queen would always answer, i want to be someone’s voice, I want to use this platform, or MU provides me a platform to a bigger cause. I mean these answers are not wrong but it’s already so common and overused, and even sound generic or rehearsed.
RBonney’s answer was just simple, crisp, clear and VERY authentic. We call it Original.
    Wow Miss USA! Nailed it!

I can relate to R’bonney’s father coming to the US 15 years ago. I came from poor family but a scholar in one of the top Universities. I borrowed $500 pocket money from my aunt and since then, I worked hard (worked 7 days a week most of the time) and now I have a good job, etc. 😊

It is very clear why she won. She talks about helping her community, and actually DOES the things she says. She doesn’t use pretty phrases like “designer of dreams” because she is busy really building those dreams.

BIG FAT YES!!!!!!!! i despise those typical pageant patty answers like "designer of dreams." really cringed when i heard it, like ugh! rbonney highlighted ACTUAL, concrete things she has done for her community

This is a great closed-door interview that is made in a transparent form, unlike previous years when Miss Universe Organization just do it discreetly and privately.
