I also have an A1466 that charges, but also provides USB Power. It won't boot and my only guess so far is that R8155 missing has something to do with it.
Hi Daniel’s. Great Job! I have a question. What rework station does it use, and at what temperature does the components remove? I have problems with my temperature calibration.😅
@@mirceaalicu haha - but then what to do about when you're using the USB-C cable and 10mA is a legit current draw? They should make USB-C/Magsafe cables that don't draw notable levels of power until activated by the Macbook :)
@@pldaniels they should indeed. 9 - 10mA draws give me goose bumps. I had iPhones drawing that while powered off. Incredibly difficult to find the culprit. 80% of them work like that just fine, but always come back later with a bigger fault…
What gives you the right to fix one with missing PM_SLP_S4_L??? 😂 Good job, I hardly ever fix them. Mmmm, it wasn't that. Catch up watching is my excuse

Ah, light in your window means I was asleep. Hope all is well Professor.

Hi Paul, how can I get these drawings??
google for the board code + boardview ...
PM_SLP_S4_L at 0.9v means pch shorted?
Hi Paul,
Why those 10mA current draw from PSU when not connected?
That's the power being drawn by the Magsafe end itself
@@pldanielsgreat :) You should fix it in the software, it bothers my OCD 😅

That's because most aren't fixable, due to that lovely IMC "typical" failure.
