I'm American but havfe alot and deep English roots ( I'm 51% English) my family roots go very far back your england , but just one thing kind of bothers me you want everybody to become a patron and to help to restore your beautiful home, and there are so many things that need to be repaired and replaced and fixed but I just don't understand why you bought an apartment in Italy and fly back-and-forth there every couple weeks to remodel it , when you could have used all that money to replace a lot of the leaks et ceteradira at the manor , I guess I'm a penny pinscher and that's just how but I would be doing Instead of paying for an apartment in Italy for a vacation home, just my little point I wanted to make but I love watching you too and I love your show and I have subscribed to both

As a Canadian obviously I love the Beavers, love the re-wilding of your estate! I know the power of water all too well, as the sewer in my townhouse decided to back up Christmas morning, ugh, frying the washing machine. However life is full of challenges, and God is good, cheering you on from my corner of Canada. Will pray about being a Patreon supporter.
The only thing I envy about your lifer is your wonderful pool. I hope you continue to love it, and many other completely unique as well as all of the more typical blessings in 2023 and many, many years to come! Also, I don't think you can really fault yourself for power washing away the bit of glue holding back those raging waters. It needed cleaning, and that crack wasn't going to stay plugged forever. Now it's good to go for another century, hopefully more, but by then it's someone else's trouble.😄❤

I enjoy your presentation; regarding turning the camera around, that sounds fun. It would be interesting to see Luke out of his country and perhaps in America. As an American, I like learning about British culture from Luke. I love how Julie has made so many adaptions to Britain and her confidence in embracing the change but keeping with some old is refreshing. I think Julie maintains who she is, an American/British citizen who truly loves the place where she now lives. I am fascinated with Luke’s American ancestor and love hearing more about her journey.
