In fact, TSSF was one of the very first bands I saw on my own without adult supervision. I lost interest in this style of music when I started smoking weed, taking psychedelics, and listening to pink floyd, the grateful dead, phish, etc. Eventually I fell in love with jazz and its improvisational essence, and ended up majoring in music in college. I just graduated and have once again fell in love with bands like The Story So Far. Things have really come full circle, and I'm ok with it. Bands like TSSF are what motivated me to pursue music, and I've once again found them and others to be the perfect soundtrack for my life.
