Nice to see the young people going out and living life instead of constantly being in front of the computer you remind me of when I was young love watching your videos keep them coming
That looked like the best day ever! Buc ee’s then the awesome barber museum then old piggly wiggly then camping on a lake. Even a thunderstorm couldn’t beat a day like that. Love life kids cause time is short
always fun to watch with my morning coffee here in Connecticut. I like your videos the ingredients of the content is perfect. Motorcycles, travel attractions, and life adventrues.
Thank you for sharing your adventure...oh boy! All that rain, been there before. I hope you all didn't get too wet so we'll have see in the next episode hwo it all went. Love the parking lot lunches, eating on the road. Great scenery in America!
I went to the Barber Museum for the 1st time this year as well... its jaw dropping - congrats on making a fun series of videos about a road trip... keep up the good work
Greetings from So oregon you two are freaking awesome flashing me back to the young days of traveling on my shovel cross-country to sturges im 70 and ride 1990 heritage and a 2006 bmw GS love both of them and i camp out in the boonies, my wife wont camp anymore but im still rocking it be safe brother and sister
@@joymachinetheshow LOL. Yes, it can be set up on the right side. No tent like that is set up for the left side only. Come on now. I have been doing this longer than you have been alive. Anyway, be careful.
:) WOW! THANKS MUCH for sharing! :) BEST 1 yet with Buc - Ee's and Piggly Wiggly! You are right as too many choices at Buc-Ee's for sure!! ALL the BEST and safe travels! Cheers from back in WA :)
Wow!! Great place to stop at Buc-ees and the Barber Museum and then Piggly Wiggly. I would have wanted to buy almost everything at Buc-ee's. SO much to look over and chose from. The Museum was great. Too bad about the night time storm. Hope you got through it ok. Great video. Thanks a lot.
nice journey! I like to see every one of your episodes. Camping tip: when you attach a tent to a side-standed bike - try the other side of the bike. I it is stormy weather the bike could be lifted up and the side stand could clap. You are then buried under the bike. With greetings from Germany.
I think that particular Bucee's was my first experience with one while at Barber for races and nuseum last year. It is such an awesome motorcycle museum. Storms while camping or riding are cerainly part of the game.
Wished I knew y'all were in Leeds, AL at Buc-ee's and Barber's I would have loved to have met y'all. My husband and I watch y'alls videos and think that y'all are the real deal. Keep up the videos we all enjoy them. Thanks Moma Bear aa
you guys had a great day except for that rain! wow.....gawd i can't stand bucees, but the do have nice bathrooms lol. i want to go to the museum so bad, it looks so cool there...and....I have said when i first found your channel and its still true, Calen, you have one very freakin' cool bike dude 🤘 sláinte
I can't believe y'all were right down the road from us moto-camping in Twiltley branch. We love to moto-camp and are fellow motorcyclist too. My girlfriend and I love your videos. Next time y'all are down this way again we'll take y'all to dinner and fill up your gas tank. Yall should check out the Natchez trace next time as well, lotsa native American history and all kinds sights to see. 🤘
Oh awesome, that’s cool we were so close! Noted on Natchez trace, we will keep that in mind next time we are out that way. Thanks for the support, we appreciate it!
Yeah…Bucees (check) - no tables to sit and eat but easy access to gas. Piggly Wiggly (check). Gotta love the rain. Ugh! What year is your motorcycle? When was your trip?
I was eyeballing that tent pretty hard but decided it was too small. I learned today that was a good choice because it leaks. Lol I went with a tipi tarp which has been awsome. It's survived wicked storms without leaks. I can stand up in the center to dress. It's big enough for my cot and chair inside but still packs pretty small. Best of all it can be set up with one side open like a lean-to or completely closed depending on weather.
Nice adventure and amazing to see you both enjoying every bit of your day. Keep gunning the miles and be safe out there and enjoy the adventure. How is is your Abel Brown Nomad? I’m planning to buy one soon.
You can die now.... you've been to Bucc-ees. And you're in Mississippi and expecting rain.. who would have thought that might happen~! A good trip to be sure though.
Living the dream.
Absolutely!

Awesome - love to hear you're going strong at 70! Very cool.
very nice and well done! I do enjoy watching these.
Thanks so much!
Cool series. Remember to always set camp up on the RIGHT side of the bike so if the bike falls over it won't be on top of you.
It's the tent's design, we put a plate under the stand though so it's not an issue. Thanks for watching!
@@joymachinetheshow LOL. Yes, it can be set up on the right side. No tent like that is set up for the left side only. Come on now. I have been doing this longer than you have been alive. Anyway, be careful.

Oh wow so close to where we were! Thanks for the support :)
I just rode to Florida from Texas a couple weeks ago, had to stop at the Alabama Bucee's. I do like their sandwiches.
Stay safe.

What year is your motorcycle?
When was your trip?
Bike is a 1999, and the trip was late Aug to late Sept. Thanks for watching!
I was eyeballing that tent pretty hard but decided it was too small. I learned today that was a good choice because it leaks. Lol

Yeah the size of ours is pretty tight - noted about the tipi tarp - if we are ever in the market for a bigger one I'll look into it!
It's a SJK Outpost 4 Tipi Tarp if you actually decide to look it up.
Hope you enjoyed the south. I'm 100 miles east of Barber's in Georgia.
You are living the dream, love watching
We sure did! We dipped our toes into Georgia for a couple miles before crossing into AL, would love to see more of it someday.
Your style reminds me of the old show Wonder years.
Also my names Brett Joy "joy machine", and my girlfriends name is Nika 😊
No way - what are the chances! Awesome, thanks for watching.
Nice adventure and amazing to see you both enjoying every bit of your day. Keep gunning the miles and be safe out there and enjoy the adventure. How is is your Abel Brown Nomad? I’m planning to buy one soon.
Late response, but it’s good and I think they improved even more in the last couple years. Can’t beat the packing size that’s for sure!
You can die now.... you've been to Bucc-ees. And you're in Mississippi and expecting rain.. who would have thought that might happen~! A good trip to be sure though.
Haha a great trip for sure! Thanks for watching.
