I brought a LS jerry can a couple of years ago for emergencies. I put 5cm of tap water in it, primed it to stop the filters drying out then stored it away in a dry cool place. How long will the filter likely to last before replacement? Thanks
If primed correctly and water left inside, the filter should be good to use as normal once you begin to use it. You can perform the Membrane Integity Test if you have any doubts: ruclips.net/video/FGVaar3-mnI/видео.html We would suggest replacing the water inside the Jerrycan once a month ideally. Thanks
I havent tried mine yet but I imagine it's like those garden sprayers. When the pressure buildup gets to a certain point, it becomes hard to push down and then you know you're done. I doubt you can actually damage it.
i serviced the pump and it is tiny screws screwed into the plastic, (which will strip out after a few services) inside gets moldy and the seal of the pumped needs greased.. Please fix this design! Been a long time customer
This is perfect if you Travel The World and there is places with Dirty water 😊 or filter rainwater because The some kind of crisis hit and there's No pressure on home Tab

Does the pump have a pressure check valve? Can the can be over pressurized with the hand pump and cause damage?

Your LifeSaver Jerrycan should still be absolutely fine, assuming it's been stored under normal conditions. Thanks
