I have Julia's dress she's wearing in the video! I win every feis now and I only have had it for 2 months!!i guess she's passed on her luck to me and all the other dancers that has danced in it.
I have a feis in two weeks and I'm watching videos like this for motivation because I'm close to getting my solo dress (which is my mums old prizewinner dress that she wore to nationals in the 80's that I'm revamping lmao),and Julia is actually such an amazing dancer
It's all just what the dancer wants to wear. I know at this years worlds Melanie Valdes ( in the tights ) wore poodle socks like Julia O'Rourke and the other dancers. At a regular competition you'll see most girls in poodle socks and some in tights. It's all just what the dancer and teacher thinks will look good with the costume and such.

those wigs, dresses, make-up on children and horrific fake tan have made a mockery of the Irish culture and heritage
