Jay is a genuine guy. Had the chance to hangout with him when he first back to the us and saw how hard he was working even after getting kicked out of 2pm. Jay would come to my work place to hangout since I worked with his best friend and that is how I realized he was a chill dude.
Anshika Ghimire S. Koreans are very sensitive. The couple of comments Jay made in emails when he was 18 or so and going through culture shock were not seen as just that. I gather that the emails were edited to seem worse as well, but not sure. I gather Jay had long since gotten used to things and was liking S. Korea. That did not matter. Knetizens list their minds. You have undoubtedly seen how horrific ours get. I do not know if he was actually kicked out of JYP and 2PM. It did adversely impact the entire group. Knetizens would have kept it up for a long time. To give you an idea of how bad some are, a petition with 5,000 signatures was sent to the Blue House (same as sending one to our White House). They wanted a comic and another entertainer executed because of a mildly negative joke about a singer. Can’t remember the names but the comic is also one of the top MC’s and hosts. Usually running at least 2 shows, often more. Extremely popular but some nut cases wanted him dead. A few years ago a guy who had been a member of a boy group died because of chronic illness he had been battling. I learned then that when he had left the group he said it was because of illness. Many did not believe him and said nasty shit about him nearly every dam day on social media. Including hours before he died. They have not learned from that. Basically, Jay needed to leave. I had just discovered 2PM. I wanted to throw salt on the idiots (this is a S. Korean insult but I do not know what it means) that forced him to leave. But I think it turned out to be best for him in the long run. He wouldn’t be able to make music he wanted to make if he was still with JYP and part of 2PM. It is also great that he could go someplace else to start from scratch.
@@anshikaghimire5636 He wasn't kicked out, he left on his own because of the scandal. There were many people in SK who wanted him out, I believe he left because of that. Otherwise, he could have stayed. But then after he left, JYPE sort of blacklisted him from going on Korean music shows and varieties.
I think Jay was expelled by JYP but the reason was never told. They have a bad relationship. There are rumors that JYP has prevented Jay from being involved in TV shows.
Jay is the living breathing human being that has that one title written all over him. "everyone makes mistakes, its how you get back up and believe in yourself"
I'm so happy that he addressed the whole problem with 2pm and hearing him say that he was relieved made me even more happier because it made me realize his struggles with the whole situation as well as the culture. He really fought hard to get to where he is and the fact that he never stopped challenging himself to prove his worth and to prove people wrong made me feel so proud. I am so glad that he decided to make a documentary. Jay beomaaa we love you. Always always!!

I'm so proud of him. He's honestly one of the most humble artists I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. His aura is really something else. He's not just motivated, he's passionate af. I'm so glad he pursued his solo career, look at him now
Jay is not only talented but he knows talent when he sees it!!! He is amazing, the fact that he stick to Cha Cha even though he got negative comments, just shows it! 🤧

I really appreciate Jay Park's music. I listened to K-pop for a few years, but as someone who grew up in America, in the end I felt that I identified slightly more with American culture than I did with Asian K-Pop culture. My music at the time was either one or the other. Jay Park then came along and made Asian-American values more mainstream, a perfect mix of Asian and American that I truly identified with. When I listen to his music I am proud to have someone represent the community that I come from. His style is extremely genuine too, and I'm so happy for him that he's now doing something that comes from this heart. Thanks for all your hard work Jay, for not giving up.

One of the most, if not THE most, hardworking and helpful guys in the industry. Respect to Jay Park 🔥 Looking forward to see what he’ll do with the new More Vision label 🔥
I respect you so much Jay park for sticking to your gut and passion for making such amazing music. I hope you do well in America. This is the most perfect time for Korean artists to make music in the west.
Si Jay lang yata ang kilala kong KOREAN Artist na malakas ang loob, matatag yung mentality, if other artist went through dun sa mga pinagdaanan ni Jay for sure they’ll gonna give up, grabe haters nya nung pumutok ung issue, but then he had also a lot of fans supported him. ❤️❤️

You keep doing you and dont even worry about the haters, your music is seriously touches people and is so appreciated.

I still adore him and 2pm. I know it's a miracle for them to collab again but as a Hottest, I will still hoping. Their brotherhood is real, and That's why I love them both.
I got into kpop and on and off with it, but what makes me stay is hearing Jay Park's music. The main reason why I keep listening to korean pop/ hip hop music.

One of the most, if not THE most, hardworking and helpful guys in the industry. Respect to Jay Park 🔥 Looking forward to see what he’ll do with the new More Vision label 🔥
Jay Park is the best
He is so handsome. I never knew him until the Got talent show where he was one of the judges. He seems like a genuine soul.
