You could’ve duplicated 2 items by switching the rare candy with other item during the missingno battle then catching missingno (make sure there’s a slot in your party).
The second item will be duplicated if you caught missingno!
is it safe to catch it though? can you release it again?

When I get to the bridge it refreshes and the trainers appear. The menu doesn't appear and no battle with missingno. What am I missing? I'm playing this through Pokemon Stadium. I'm using a trainer from the bike path for the very first part of this glitch since I already battle the guy in the bush.
you need the guy in the bush. that's the point.
you can also use the gambler. (the mew glitch)
Yeah, you need the Marsh Badge for pokemon upto Lv.70, ps Ponyta can be found on cycling road around lv.30
Hey so I literally just did this and when I defeat ditto, i couldn't access my start menu to fly back to cerulean city..

I heard some will crash your game if you had a special of 31 or 32. I don't know which one Goldeen at level 24 has from this fisherman on Route 12.
Any Missingno. that isn't the fossil or ghost forms *will* most likely crash the game.
I love that old-style electro pop music, hahaha. I need to play Yellow, I've never done it. Also, that bunch of Glitch pokémon are calling me.

I did the glitch as the video says but I didn't get the menu to automatically pop up when I got to the nugget bridge in cerulean city maybe because I wasn't able to find a pokemon with 183 special attack? Idk help :(
I'm confused cause u can't push the start bottom once u fly of teleport so how she do that cause u can only push start after beating a trainer
You should do a catching Missingno and regular "rectangle" Missingno!
rectangle "MissingNo." doesn't exist, however there are similiar glitch pokemon that look similiar to the one in red and blue
Mine always freezes no matter what. Tried a Pokemon with 31, 32, 172 special. All of which are stated to work. Unfortunately it is just crashing my game and ends on an infinite loop of the missingno sound. I used dig to leave the mansion. I wonder if it's particular to the escape rope only?
You need a special stat of 69 for it to work

@@UCukaWNi1BI97yWzUd-aFMJg I have 1 question. So basically you face any long ranged trainier, fly away, and then head to find ditto. Before that you have to find and kill another trainer.. Why's that? That means you cant do this glitch infinitely since at some point u will have all the trainers killed... right?
So how do you find a second trainer after beating all of the scientists? I already beat all the scientists in the mansion so idk what my other options are

It didn’t work there was a jinx and I killed it and my items are the same
So, it seems like the Ditto replicating the special stat is the thing that does it? Do you have to kill the Ditto with the same Pokémon or could you have swapped to your Charizard to kill it? If so, there should be a bunch of other special values that produce a Missingno with this glitch, yes?
It probably won't be interesting to you, as it's been over a year but no, you don't even need to kill ditto.
All that matters is that ditto copies your pokemons' value of 182-184.
If it did that you can simply run from the fight and get out with escape rope, no need to do anything else
Use fly infront of first trainer on bridge to get gengar
Can you get mega aerodactyl missingno?
Megas didnt exist in gen 1..
