    Old video but anyway. I had my tap machine checked by electrician and they told me that the compressor is dead. Are there any spare compressors available?

    What temp controller did you end up using? I think my temp controller is broken (no lighting up or fan turning on) but I have power coming out of the power supply.

  • @deondunrand104
    @deondunrand104 Год назад

    well the board and the temp controller are not mated in anyway.. the power supply is 12 volt.. 4 wires 2 fore 12 volt and 2 for output to fan and compressor.. very simple to repair.. can use normal 12 volt supply and 2 relays to trigger compressor and fan.

      I have never been able to repair a faulty controller. The power supply is easy.

    • @deondunrand104
      @deondunrand104 Год назад

      well if you have controllers using pic chips that have custom firmware the only way to repair them is using an exact board to pull the firmware from the pic and write a new one or check if you can find firmware online but most are patent protected then the only choice is to write new firmware. that takes about 3 days if you have a working unit.

      @@JDNelRefrigeration most controllers, depending on the fault either have a faulty relay or relay driver. if their is no power at all check caps and semi conductors.

    You can buy the power supply board from their website for $20

      On this machine the temperature controller board was faulty. Not the power supply.

    I have power going to my machine as it lights up but no display on temp contains the motor doesn’t turn . Will this just be a temp control replacement?

    • @JDNelRefrigeration
      @JDNelRefrigeration  3 года назад

      You have to test it first. Inside your temperature controller there is a relay, the 2 contacts of the relay must be bypassed in order to see if the compressor runs. If not you have to look further.

    • @patrickmcnaughton308
      @patrickmcnaughton308 3 года назад

      I connected the compressor direct to input and it started to run . Can I now just go ahead and buy a new danfoss temp control and splice that into the 240?

    It actually should be running at -17.8 according to there website

    • @JDNelRefrigeration
      @JDNelRefrigeration  2 года назад

      At -14 it was barely coming out of the spout but the controller is adjustable, you can have it at any temperature you like.

    What temp probe did you use?

      @JDNelRefrigeration  6 месяцев назад

      I left the original one inside the machine. I found a controller that is compatible to the existing probe.

      No, as long as it has the right temperature range and is compatible to the sensor probe.

    Hey dude! Awesome work!!!
    I have byed a used machine these days and i am wondering how the original temperature control works? If i press setup i can set it down to -1 but not more. Original it was set to -0.1. What does these numbers mean?
    Maybe you can help me... thank you and enjoy your great maschine!
