I just found this tutorial and it is awesome. I just started my jewelry making adventure and I broke so many of my crystal briolettes. I was about to give up but now thanks to you I realized I was using too hard of wire. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Glad I could help! The most important lesson is to not give up. A huge part of Jewelry Making is problem solving and figuring out ways to make things work together. If something isn't working the way you want to, it's usually just a minor trick/adjustment you need to make.
I want to to make erring out of tear drop briolett beads with jewelers glue, but dont know what you call the top metal part for this style earring, can you tell me the name of it.
Hi new sub:)) Thank you for all the informative videos! I’ve learned so much..could you please do a video on gold filled wires and what sizes and variations in flexibility and hardness that are the best for different types of jewelry making! Keep up the great work!!
How odd to have found this video. The pendants you were just playing with in the beginning (green pendants) of the video is exactly what I just bought from eBay. I only have 22 gauge wire and 20 gauge. What size gauge do you recommend to the pendant I had just mentioned. By the way, is it just plastic or an actual stone?
The stones at the beginning of the video are Green Aventurine. I can't tell you for sure what stone you got or what gauge wire to use, but I'd generally recommend going as thick as you can go as long as it doesn't put too much strain on the top. If you think a thinner gauge would look better with the bail or chain you are using, then that's fine too.
Best Tutorial on drop beads or Briolettes I have seen. Thank you
One of the best tutorials! Thorough & simple instructions. Thank you for sharing your techniques. :-)

Love it 😍
That's exactly how I wire-wrap briolettes. Are you using gold-filled wire?
+Brooklyn Skinny Pigs I used gold filled wire for this example, but the technique works for any material as long as the wire is relatively soft.
I would use beads with it
What brand of tools do you use? The tips are so nice and thin.
+Carol Yeah, i like those tools a lot. The brand is called Xuron
+GemPacked - Jewelry Findings and Beads Thank you I thought they might be.
