If you hard-lock (for instance, in SRC PD, ) it's enough radar info for a BVR missile. It just needs ANY radar info for it to track. If you hard-lock, seek the R-77 on the lock and fire, you can immediately unlock if under ~18KM and have the same effect as if you locked on with a TWS selection. TWS is just used primarily for quick lock-and-fire on multiple targets without giving them a radar warning, whereas other radar modes are more difficult to lock multiple targets quickly.
That F-15 at the end, you have to dogfight him. You cannot allow him to stay on your six, because to dodge these AMRAAM, you need to fly perpendicular in order to make them lose lock with chaff. Those 120 are impossible to dodge flying straight. Dropping chaffs alone will not be enough.
Yeah you can really tell he doesn't play air rb. Most of these ground rb YTers are terrible at anything other than dropping bombs when it comes to planes.

What we need is air spawns and airfields to be moved further back from the battlefield at 10.0 and up. Everything is a jet at those BRs so time to battle isn’t an issue. Gives pilots more time to react and defend themselves when pansies and AMRAAMs can kill you within 60 seconds of spawning.

Justin im gonna be honest as a long time air RB player, you're taking way too much fuel even for an entire air rb match which is probably why this plane feels like a bus you'd be surprised how much fuel affects weight, i would recommend taking 25 minutes max considering youll either be out of cas ordinance and rtb or dead before you'll ever run out of fuel just keep this in mind.
@@rav3727 Justin most likely used default ammo belt(cuz it doesnt increase sp) and in default ammo belt there is AP-T and HEF-I shells, while APHE shells are in universal, ground and stealth belts

Man you should try bringing 12.7 jet in your USA line up. The teams are actually so much better than the premium hellhole, 14 games and 2 losses so far today.
People are busy grinding it in airrb and it's not a fun stock grind at 13.0 You don't get stock chaff at fox3 meta, you can't force a head-on, you can't do anything at head on with IR missiles. Not fun. R77 is good and will punish anyone not respecting it within it's range but the problem is exactly that, it's range. AMRAAM have absurd range, they are even possible to defeat within 4km given that you were already kind of nothcing them, but it's their range that kill you. Having played both I have 4 KD with F15C and 1.5 with Su27. I just got the R77s from a painful stock grind but still
honestly i dont use the 25sm3 anymore because its much slower and much more susceptible to the spamraams. i actually only use the flanker because i can fire some fox 3s back and even have dogfights
Going above 10.3 and trying to use cas is almost impossible, also the only k8nd of guided missles I can seem to figure out to use effectively are the A10 agm65 or maverick missles
Hey Justin, could you do a tutorial on how to defeat SPAA missiles? I previously didn't even think it was possible to evade missiles from top-tier SPAAs like the ADATs/Ito when in their killzone, let alone consistently doing so multiple times in a row. How do you do it?
I hope they balace the 35k misil . Ground simply dont have Anti air to fight something like that or get your own CAS or you die . I sometimes just play antiair and try to intercept the misils. And is like a chance of 30% to intercept ( sorry bad inglish )
Hi may I please ask a question as a possibly new starter to the game. If you crash your jet what happens then? Do you have to use in game currency to repair it? Or is it just start again without any cost? Thank you hope to get some feedback 👍
It uses your silver lions, when the default option automatic repair is on (its a small icon bottom right in the hangar) if you turn it off you wont pay for repairs or ammo, but it can take hours even days before you can play it again

Higher SP cost for ground ordinance. High risk/high reward plane spawn and you have to have done something on the ground first. Right now any ground failure with a single assist can basically spawn air cancer. Ridiculous. Can I spawn my Pantsir in ARB...?
CAS as well as Helicopters of any kind with anything on them period should be a one off. It needs to be made a privilege not some exception for the already insanely overperforming Russian tanks.

60 seconds is very generous. You’re within the the MAR of an aim120 from their air spawn within 10 seconds out of your spawn if you fly straight.

if the amraam is rear aspect if you spam that chaff button a few times rapidly it should decoy it
F-16 got that ability to spam because they have a radar that can narrow it's search fov.

When locking with tv guided agms does the little plus that come up have to be on the enemy your launching the missle at?
The plus sign needs to be on the target. It should auto onto the target, sometimes you have to move it to the tank and then click your launch button
If u ever decide to move, u should move to Los Angeles. At least it's not as hot as LV and has more amenities other than the LV strip.
