Captain Brineybread didn't get eaten by his ship. In the Phase 2 transition, where the ship get annoyed or angry, the Captain was pushed off and flew off his ship into the sea. You can even see in the backround where Captain Brineybread falls down to the ocean. So he was not killed, or so. At the end of the game, the cutscene with most of the bosses fought, you can see Brineybread somewhere unharmed.

Next this isn’t much of an appearance but when Mugman looks at the brand new swing ride opening to the carnival in the newspaper the swing ride has Bepi’s face like in his final phase. Lastly in the king dice episode when Cuphead goes on roll the dice Pip and Dot can be seen in the crowd as well in other episodes to. By the way Pip and dot are the dominos from the king dice fight

I like the theory, but I think that she most likely won’t become one of the main characters because of how human-like she is. It seems weird for one of the main characters to be a grown adult human instead of a cup or kettle like we see with Cuphead, Mugman and Chalice.
You forgot something with baron von bon bon, the peppermint the castle sends out in the game made a appearance by being the thing leading cuphead to the baroness
You can see mangosteen at the little performance in the invisible sweater episode and in the Briney bread episode you can see the shark that slams across the deck and in the episode where miss chalis is possessing people you can see the purple plant that's is the first run and gun level
