Quel chef ! Quel orchestre ! Quels talents ! Il faudrait qu'on m'explique pourquoi ces interprètes d'un tel niveau ne soient pas reconnus, diffusés et enregistrés comme ils le méritent..J'ai découvert, par hasard, sur RUclips, DIMA SLOBODENIOUK et ''son'' orchestre et , depuis, je m'étonne que l'on médiatise certains chefs ( ou orchestres) qui n'atteignent pas ce niveau de qualité ...
Seraient-ils à ce point gênants qu'il faille le hasard pour découvrir ces génies qui se trouvent à nos portes !!!
Continuez à nous servir cette perfection et cette musicalité!

I’m not unduly worried about the camera angles.
The tonality of the composition produced by the orchestra, the expert interpretation and timing by the conductor and the individual performance of key players especially violin all add to a superb rendition of what I consider Strauss’s best Tone Poem.
I’ve been listening to the Ein Heldenleben Tone Poem for over sixty years, practically every week, Zubin Mehta, the maestro, being one such early conductor with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and one very hard to beat. But with this production, rarely rarely comest thou, spirit of delight. Well done - an unmistakable, brilliant performance.

Yo he tenido la inmensa suerte de escucharla AL AIRE LIBRE en la Plaza de María Pita de Coruña (con las complicaciones sonoras que eso tiene) y es increíble como suena la Sinfónica. Maravillosa!

I didn't know this bright conductor, Meastro Slobodeniouk and OSG. This combination is really great. i'm only afraid that the brass section didn't hit in "a hero's fight".

Richard Strauss, much-maligned as the “Nazis’ composer” once described himself thus: “I am not a first-rate composer, but I am a first-class second-rate composer”. This instance of self-deprecating humour is rare indeed for a German of that time whom the Nazi Propaganda Minister, Goebbels, appointed as president of the Reichsmusikkammer. (Strauss did in fact helped save the lives of several Jews later in the war.) Surely, the music of this superb composer ranks amongst the best music of “first-rate composers!” And here, this performance amply reveals what Strauss was capable of achieving.
''Una Vida de Héroe'' es una composición para gran orquesta, con una duración aproximada de unos 45 minutos, y que se ejecuta sin interrupción, pese a que está compuesta de varias partes con títulos descriptivos: 1. Der Held (El Héroe) 2. Des Helden Widersacher (Los adversarios del Héroe) 3. Des Helden Gefährtin (La compañera del Héroe) 4. Des Helden Walstatt (El campo de batalla del Héroe) 5. Des Helden Friedenswerke (Las obras de Paz del Héroe) 6. Des Helden Weltflucht und Vollendung (La retirada del mundo y la consumación del Héroe). Para su composición, Strauss empleó la técnica wagneriana del Leitmotiv, aunque integrándola como elementos temáticos dentro de una estructura sinfónica de Sonata con Rondó. (WIKIPEDIA)

Me encanta el primer movimiento, sobre todo cuando la orquesta va en volandas y de pronto... ¡se para! Minuto 4.20 y siguientes. ¡Qué dominio de Strauss!
