- There are many mods for Terraria, and there are famous ones like calamity mod. Sure, we all know calamity is superior, but sometimes, smaller mods like thorium will give enough new experience for another game of Terraria. Or just play with calamity. That also works, hopefully. Well, there are things that's broken in Thorium mod, and probably I broke it...

Intentional or not, Terraria mods can be used to destroy your brain cells, because, that's what everyone wants, right? And today, on Mod Monday (probably going to be a thing, right?) I have revisited thorium mod; it was actually my first mod to play. I was amazed at this mod, prasing that this is basically Terraria 2.0, screw minecraft 2.0. Well, I found real Terraria 2.0 called calamity mod, but I guess this mod did what I wanted at that point...
Of course, they added something that I don't even remember in Thorium mod now, like [insert trademark marvel 1991... or is it 2018?], but of course, I tried to play with all those items and other items that might have... just not fine.

One of my favorite parts of Thorium are Crystal Waves, consumables which permanently increase your movement speed, up to doubling it. It can make boots unnecessary.

Seeing the wall of bullets just gave me a idea, a game with you have a shotgun that fires like that, and your basically op and can fly, but you die in a single hit and there are thousands of enemies at once and some fly and fire projectiles

How to summon wall of bullet:
You need the world in corruption, get the mosket and 999 mosket bullets, now you need to defeat moon lord, go to the hell, and new enemie called "Lunar demon" they droop with 25% a cosmic bullet, and go to the hell and drop the cosmic buet in a pole of lava!
Stadict of wall of bullets:
Life: 250.000, 346.095 in expert, and 657.800 in master mode (1M IN MASTER + FOR THE WORTHY!)
Attacks: cursed bullet, and ichor bullet (the 2 laser eyes)
Defense: 25
Drops: Wall slime mount (3%) Rikor (45%) Punch of bullets (100%, expert) Amarria (5%, master mode)
Wall slime mount:
Is only a slime, but they have a musket! (10.000 DAMAGE!)
Rikor:
10.098 melee damage (Is a yoyo)
46% critical chance
Very fast
Especial:
Have a 13% to healing you by 6%
Punch of bullets:
Increase 25% ranger damage, increase bullets speed by 16% and 19% critical chance, howerer, arrow damage and critical chance ar reduced by 13%
Amarria:
Increased 6% critical chance, 15% damage reduction, howerer, 6- defense
Ahhh the memories... i still remember when i first played it. Was a bit dumb cuz it was just bogstandard 1.3 with QoL mods and fargos mod but with deactivated eternity. Later on i went with calamity
My first mod was also thorium, it has a special place in my heart.

Fun fact: thorium mod adds food and one of them is Chi tea. chi means tea and so they’re technically saying “tea tea”
I think Thorium sticks closer to Terraria's style than Calamity. Sure the boss themes of Calamity are epic rock and all that but it doesn't have that chiptune style that Thorium does, especially The Grand Thunder Bird. The art style in the bosses also feels more consistent with vanilla.
On that subject, I like how the two Hallow bosses in 1.4 feels representative of those mods. Queen Slime feels like something you'd see in Thorium, especially since there has to be a Queen if there's a King. Empress of Light, with her humanoid form and "beautiful bullet hell" is something akin to Calamity

Actually you can grab eater of the world with mage hand but not as whole. For example, you can grab its head and throw it somewhere else to deflect it
