Yeah, have fun doing content with fewer than 16 players in Retail (because of buffs). You need a Monk, DH, Warrior, Priest, Mage, Warlock, one DK for grips (always needed), two paladins (devo and ret aura), Evoker, Druid, Hunter (Hunter's Mark).
@@billymays9296 you overdramatize this as having 1-2% damage buff is negligible unless you suck at DPS and stuck on progressing. Also, some utilities like DK, Evoker, or Warlock aren't a 100% must either. But yes, I'm having fun when there is every class in my raid, but that's not as mandatory as you claim. My initial comment was more about stamina shout, horn of winter, paladin's fist and crown, boomkin's aura, shaman's totems etc.
@@garavitijama That's the beauty of fire mages, they spec into flame throwing for increased range. So they can sit right on the edge and still avoid the dmg while pumping LK. Hunters can do this too!
@@garavitijama Come on man use your eyes! If you look at the raid frames although it's faded because they are out of range. They are losing health. But are being constantly topped by the healers. Not just the Boomy, there is a Warlock standing there too! :)

You can see the balance druid and demolock staying inside though, with the shaman who's healing them, because they need to be in 30 yd range. They just outheal it for those players.

Fire mage with the range talent has 41yd range. Remorseless Winter has 40yd range. So as a mage you can literally just stand outside of the AoE effect's range and keep pumping on LK.
If I remember lock has an ability that creates fake enchantment items (Think shamans rockbiter weapon) that increase spellpower and crit chance, apply that to every mage and its like having an entire free mage and the other ability they have that makes enemies more vulnerable to spell damage, I forgot what it is but i think it was an affliction tree ability

There is another 1 with hunter 17* I thought only mages had the range but the mage one is bit faster of kill didnt even see single vlak phase hunters did

It's the mirror images, they only cast frostbolts. But the 4set gives you 18% damage buff when you use them. 😁
