I've known Greyson for years, I saw him come up, and there are few like him. You could just tell this kid had something a lot of grown ass men didn't. It's been really cool watching his career and even cooler seeing him pop up here. The two of you deserve all the success and recognition you're getting ❤️
On a side note, Estepario, this reaction vid of yours is fantastic for anyone looking to enhance their learning of Spanish - you speak quickly, as is expected of someone speaking European Spanish, but you also speak with superb clarity and diction which is free from the regional superlatives and dialects common to Spain, allowing a non-Spanish born student of the language to follow you for over 90% of dialogue.

As someone who studied it from grade school to high school, I was surprised that I could understand a good amount of what he was saying. Students should use this video for Spanish class!

Great video! Amazing to see Greyson being appreciated... I would also mention, that he is no only an amazing jazz drummer, he showed his musical prowess as a metal drummer too - with Suicidal Tendencies... Greyson is on another level, just up there with You Jorge!

First gear is mainly wrist, and by fourth gear he is using all his fingers in a mind-blowing display of speed which some have described as a spider weaving a web. 🤯

Acabo de ver tu video, y hay que empezar, por felicitarte a tí por tu madurez y constancia, de verdad no solo muestras lo mucho que te gusta la batería, sino lo mucho que aprecias la música, sigue con tu canal y haciendo esas piruetas técnicas por las cuáles te has hecho famoso! Greyson es efectivamente un fuera de serie y los rudimentos de Buddy Rich que sacó, son para dejar a quién sea con la boca abierta.

After watching many of your videos I want to say that I like rock very much, but the drums were never my favouties. My band director was just like the director in the movie. He would throw stands and his baton all the time. Best band director i ever had. We all respected him for his love of the music and it made us all learn better.
This is the only kind of reaction video that should be allowed, you add so , much value to everything you react too, so rare nowadays.
The fact that estepario is giving so much respect makes you realize how good Greyson is.
Or how good of a person estepario is. He wouldn't say a bad word about any drummer out there who practices hard and listens more than s/he talks ;)

I understand Spanish very well, I speak it very well, but this guy talks in his native language how about as fast as his drumming and I had to rewind it several times and eventually I gave up and I just started reading the subtitles. Even his R's roll so fast without paradidling! Does he do everything so fast? I mean, while everybody is barely digging into their dinner, is he already asking for the check? And I don't want to get into his personal affairs because I love this guy and I respect him. But I even wonder if he hears the words...hey!! Wait a minute. That's it?? Quite often. Anyways I'm a huge fan in a subscriber and I cannot wait for what's next
I was surprised to see a musician of your caliber analyzing the technique of another drummer. Not in a bad way, but it shows that the best ARE the best because they are constantly learning. I've been following Greyson for a few years now, and his skills are Buddy Rich level. He's young and only going to get better as time goes on. I really enjoy your drumming as well.and your commentary here is as entertaining as your drumming. I wish you both continued success!
I was hoping you were going to do a review on this guy! Just phenomenal all around. Many Instagram/RUclipsrs are coming out of the woodworks playing as good as seasoned players because of the work off screen that is put in. Thanks for the video and breakdowns!
as i view ur video..at that time i also walk to my room and take my stick..and start practice again..the last time i play drum set is way back at 2008..and now ill keep practice again and i hope next year ill buy new drum set and will teach my son and daughter to play along..

Aparté la guitarra por un profe que tenia. Era demasiado duro para mi en esa edad o mi personalidad. Solo tube que crecer un poco para valorar mas mi instrumento y tomarmelo en serio. Un abrazo bro

This was like watching a mini Buddy Rich. Such a different style to yours and without a lot of the equipment. I laughed so much when I watched Whiplash. I have never bled on the kit (except for flying guitars and cymbals). I did once get a blister on Maracas . What a joy to watch that young man behind the real sound of that film

This was great! I have been seeing Greyson on the Drumeo channel for a while now and immediately took to his style. I love that you liken him to Venom , it is very appropriate, however i would have said the same of you too sir. You then go on to tell us that you are going to practice to be more like him 😂 i love it you are both awesome human beings and great drummers. I am aspiring to be like you guys and the late Dom. Bless you all for teaching us this craft. Rock On! 😊 oh and also i am trying to learn Spanish so i though "Hey i can practice both in this video." Pero wishplash no quiere enseñar a un pelado enojado, quiere demostrar a lo que puede llegar el humano para sentirse perfecto y halagado por eso,por que el anehlo de una persona siempre es esa,ser recompensado con gestos de gratitud hacia sus logros y es exactamente como se muestra al final de la pelicula....vemos como el profesor que estaba obsesionado con crear a un nuevo prodijio se emociona al ver que lo encontró en el nuevo estudiante (que con tanta ambición de parte de los dos)y el estudiante se emociona por que pudo demostrar que el podía llevar su cuerpo y mente al limite sin perder la cordura para asi poder ser su mejor versión.
