Excellent review. Saw another person's review which was good but you provided more tests and data relevant to me so thanks for the extra effort. 👊🏼🇺🇸

I hate accidentally getting Chinese stuff, but I’ve done it. I have used a lot flashlights. The ones I have trusted the most for durability is Elzetta.

Interesting video. I'll look into getting one. My edc is a Milwaukee pen light, only has 100 lumens and I typically change the AAA batteries every other week

I think the "China" topic has two detractors. Quality is obviously a concern *coughWISHcough!* and also political/moral concerns. Some people want to support the CCP as little as possible.
I tend to find myself in both camps, which is frustrating with such a clearly awesome light. It may fall into that space that phones and computer parts exist in.

Powertac is a little different. They’re USA based, they OWN their own facility. Unlike 99% of the “wish/decent/higher quality” products you may find manufactured overseas, the companies that make their own products (Apple for instance) don’t take chances with other peoples mindsets, corner cutting or even leaving it to chance.
There truly is a very, VERY different perception of what Made in China is to some people and realistically, a lot more products than you would ever fathom are made in China, even some of your most trusted brands. Unless you see “100% made in the USA” on the box, it’s not.

No made in china tactical stuff for me, I took a chance on "premium chinesium" optics (guess the brand and you get a cookie) and was disappointed 3/4 times with serious product defects. Made in USA unless it's an MRO.

I hate things I have charge, especially if it is going to be weapon mounted. Imagine shit going crazy and having to find an outlet. I would prefer to carry batteries.

mine wouldnt hit turbo either and if it did it would dip right away. meaning i never got the true turbo. replacement unit it better but seems to be a common fault that should be fixed.
