I’m still trying to grab Harmony it is still always sold out when I try to grab it. My faves are the concealer, foundation and the translucent powder 🫶🏽
I never tried LYS as they aren't very available in the UK, like only a small amount on cult beauty with almost everything out of stock as they don't seem to restock them, although I have always wanted to try the pressed powder. Maybe one day I will get to, as they are pretty affordable as well

I have never tried lys before but the face products you used look gorgeous on you and bummer about the palette but looks like you were able to make it work in the end with the lighter shades. ❤

Great review Patty! I use Lys foundation, concealer, bronzer stick and blushes, really like the natural finish, and the fact I don't have to use a lot of powder to set. Agree the bronzer is really pigmented, easier to apply with a brush instead of swiping on. Your look is very pretty and props for making the eyeshadows work! 🥰

I love and use the concealer, foundation, cream blushes, lip products, and powder brobzer .sometimes I use the concealer for foundation ot stays a bit better

That lip liner: the wood smells faintly of cedar or something like that. I actually enjoy that. The formula is great. I have Persuasion and Speak Love. They are so beautiful. I like how the brand is clean, as well.
How do you sharpen them after the first few uses? They're not round like the sharpener opening.
@@IndigooceanOrg , the angles do not cause the pencil to not sharpen evenly one bit. It’s the diameter of the pencil that makes the difference. I noticed that if the paint is too thick on the pencil to the point that you have to work too hard to sharpen it, or the pencil’s diameter is slightly too narrow for the standard sharpener, then it sill then be an issue. But these sharpen well because of the diameter (nothing to do with the shape) and the quality of the wood, and the color doesn’t yield too easily. It’s perfect.
@@lyneae3786 your sharpener must be entirely different than mine. My lys lip liner won't fit into the small hole I normally use for lip pencils at all. And in the larger one it gives splinters then breaks off the actual liner part by the time the splinters are shaved down.
@@IndigooceanOrg , I use the Physician’s Formula one and the Revlon one. They are pretty basic, but they both have the two holes plus their larger holes have that little insert to vary the bigger hole. The Revlon is super sharp and also a surprisingly long-lasting blade. Also, the Physician’s Formula one is a repurchase; it also has that little stick that you can pull out to clean the inside. Anyway, mine work no problem. I normally get splinters with some pencils when my sharpener is too old OR it has something inside and it needs to be cleaned out. The odds are that something is happening with your sharpener and not that you got a bad batch of wood from your pencils.

I just do 1 swipe under my eyes with the concealer and it never creases on my eyes but i have super dry under eye. And i dont set it at all. And im not saying you are doingnit wrong or anything like that. Makeup works so different for everybody and thats why im in love with it. My favorite part is that i dont have to set it cause i am so dry.
I went to my local Sephora a few weeks ago, to see if LYS was sold in stores. I asked the employee if they carried LYS in stores and she didn’t even know what it was 🙄🤦🏻♀️ I had to show her a picture of the products. Then she said “oh yeah I think I have heard of them before.” Whaaaat? Lol 😂 Um ok.

LYS always does 40% off on Black Friday. That primer has bad reviews. They have an underrated glowy serum that is a much better primer. I like their base, cheek products and agree, skip the eyes.
Worst is lip liner because you can't sharpen a triangular pencil.
I have these and I have never had an issue with sharpening them. The diameter works perfectly with sharpeners. Sharpeners have inside them barrels that narrow to a point that cause the inserted pencil to press against the blade. The fact that it is a “triangle” in the pencil does not impeded on the performance of it being sharpened one bit. If someone thinks that they cannot be sharpened they haven’t tried to sharpen them, or they have a very, very old sharpener that is showing signs of needing to be replaced or it needs to be cleaned.
