Thank you Sir and 1A Auto repair for showing us how this part gets installed in this particular vehicle. I own a 2006 Hyundai Azera Limited, I just ordered a Front Pipe, intermediate rear pipe, Catalytic converter, Resonator Assembly, gaskets. Hyundai wanted to charge me $1100 dollars for labor and these parts. I love cars, so I am knowledgeable about the cars parts. Went online to RockAuto parts store amazing online store, Just like 1A Auto. Saved my self over $500 in labor and parts VS the dealership, Found a 5Star mechanic he will install these parts on my Azera for half of what the dealership quoted me. Most people just drive their vehicles and put gas in them they really don't know how their vehicles function. Just watching videos like "Just Rolled In" on youtube as well, people would be amazed what damage people do to their vehicles.

Also you can just disconnect the 02
Sensor and remove the sensor after removing the flex pipe makes it easier

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the guy said that those flex pipes are the CA emissions version, but aren''t they federal emissions?

Could you have just unplugged the sensor and removed it after taking flex pipe off of the vehicle? That way you can work with it on table or something

I have a question I have a huge leak and it looks like it’s a pretty common problem with that part on these cars around 130-150k mileage. The shop told me I needed a whole new exhaust but from my codes I think I just need a new upper downstream exhaust part. How likely would a piece fall down and break a whole brand new catalytic converter?

Please list the part numbers for nuts and bolts, gaskets and the actually flex pipe as well as if it can fit a 2.0 turbo edition.

If reusing a gasket (or even with a new one), use Permatex copper Spray or Kopper Koat on the gasket/flanges. Light coats. Ensures no leaks! Has been used since the 70s for this purpose.

This is why I don’t ever use parts from one of these places, I always go to the dealer, if it costs a few dollars more so be it! Also , I wouldn’t let this guy work on an erector set!
