    He should have explained the difference from the modes not how to press a power button. Useless

    We bought a Breville 2 in 1 dehumidifier and air purifier and it was impossible to sleep with because it sounded like a freight train when switched on! We returned it after Breville customer care said that we had a faulty unit and we're now looking at this DeLonghi unit. Is it much quieter than the noisy Breville unit? Also does it have a useful HEPA filtration system? Keep up the great work. Cheers 😊

    Does it maintain the power state when disconnected from the mains? In that, if the supply is interrupted (unplugged while operating, for example) and it is reconnected; will it continue operating? Or do you have to press the power button again?

  • @HNM69
    @HNM69 11 месяцев назад +2

    does it turn on automatically and go back to the last setting when it gets power? (for a timer or smart plug...)

    I recently got mine. I’ve been exposed to so much dust and mould, that it has chronically affected my lungs ( from my old apartment ). I didn’t realise mould and dust could affect one’s lungs like this 😭!! And unfortunately- I cannot go to the doctors, because of this bizarre pandemic :(

  • @dpgprs

    Is it supposed to sound the same at all levels or should it be louder at higher levels? I bought one, but I'm not sure if it is working properly because it sounds the same at every level.

    I need something like this but I want it to be able to constantly be on keeping humidity around 20/30% with the hose draining into another area. Would this work for that?

  • @greyankle
    @greyankle 5 лет назад +2

    Doesn't it come with some kind of rubber feet? The bottom of this dehumidifier has 5 tracks like you are supposed to install something in there (see 5:50).
    The unit I just bought works fine, but it's noisy because of vibrations.

    • @sutats
      @sutats  5 лет назад

      Hi bro, not that I'm aware of. Have you seen any product pictures with them? Happy dehumidifying.

    • @TheRealParsonz
      @TheRealParsonz 5 лет назад +1

      I think you're right the rubber feet- on amazon if you look closely it has little bumps which probably clip in where you suggested

    Is anyone frustrated with how this dehumidifier doesn’t switched on when you turn it on? Seems to sometimes turn on when it’s on the shirt / laundry mode, then when you go to switch it to one / two or three drops, it stops operating, then it may not turn itself back on for an extended period. I am finding it really frustrating

    • @sutats
      @sutats  3 года назад

      Hi, I will think it would have little effect if any. You may want to try an air purifier instead for that and of course where possible also allow plenty of fresh circulating air and ventilation. Happy dehumidifying.

  • @ANCAPVoluntaryist
    @ANCAPVoluntaryist Год назад +1

    Humidity is measured in percents not in drops of water.
    Ideally you would like it to be 50%.
    This unit has no current /target humidity level display in % and is very noisy.

    • @sutats

    Looks like the filter holes are too large so dust and other gunk will accumulate on the inner coils/fins which will reduce its efficiency and will require more maintenance. Some brands have hepa filter options. Would have been great to see the drain in action and whether there is a pump that expels the water or whether it depends on gravity for the water to leave the unit, a pump is a unique feature. Also a demonstration of the status indicator lights would have added value to your video because that's something that you can't get by reading the user manual. I appreciate that as it is not your unit, you may not have had the permission to delve deeper.

      I don’t think you could sleep with this in your room. Also depending on the way it sits the motor also make a right racket / rattle. You could hear it in this video when it was first started and near the end too.
