I really recommend HSR if you want to play Hoyoverse game. Out of the 5 games they have, this one has the most gameplay, lore, comedy, quality of life, and interesting philosopical writing.
And yes HSR and Honkai Impact 3rd live in the same universe, but you don't have to play HI3 to understand HSR story. Just know that HI3 story exist within an isolated solar system hidden by a barrier while HSR story exist outside of that solar system which is the space itself.
I do think Ill be playing Star Rail and ZZZ in the future as a form of content if people would infact wanna see them both. will be a F2P experience though and so many people still prefer whales (those that spend lots of money)
im a bit dumb though so story can go over my head but I looove agood lore.
@@Spec1799 as a little teaser, the comedy in this game are filled with memes and references and sometimes the writers make fun of themselves. It's like deadpool but in a form of video game, so I'm sure some of them gonna go through your head 😂 but that's fine as always

Honkai Star Rail is a jrpg with a good story related to lorno with Honkai impact, but you can play without knowing lora. ZZZ - action/RPG has nothing to do with the Honkai universe. Genshin is connected to the Honkai universe, but it is unclear how. Honkai Impact 3 -visual novel-action game is the best story of all games and one plot part, unlike the rest of the games, is completely finished. The game is divided into chapters and at the end of some as the end of the chapter the animated videos are very. Very high quality with excellent soundtracks. The game is old and the old chapters have not been updated, so the first 7 chapters need to be relived, but this does not mean that they are not important. A retelling of the plot, if you do not go deep, is on their channel in the Chronicles section in English. Trailers (it's better to watch in Japanese voiceover) and cinematics if you decide to watch, take fan playlists, not official ones.

HI3 is very close to HSR.
Bc their main story Is designed to connect at a point. This is why theyre testing waters with the HSR and HI3 collab.
ZZZ exist in honkai universe.
The honkai universe is called the imaginary tree..
And each Star system exist as leaves encased in a boundary of Energy.
That you can pass only with being OP AF.. Like.. Easily destroy a planet OP..
Or having a connection to an Aeon and borrowing THEIR powers.
But the universe is Hugeee.
And Genshin takes place in Teyvat... A planet with its own star system.. Aka one leaf.
ZZZ takes place in its own planet.. And is prop really far away.
And HI3 takes place on Earth.
HI3 is the oldest of the bunch.. Ignoring GGZ.
So.. Its story has progressed.
And they have progressed to their solar system.. And is planning to go to a cosmic scale.
Genshin is still young..
But they plan to take it to a huge cosmic scale.. It drops hints on this.
ZZZ is youngest.
And HSR is based on the Main Cosmos.
Expanding on HI3 lore.
HI3 is about traveling the universe and diff leafs.. Aka traveling diff planets.
FYI.. Genshin dragons like the sovereign dragons and other dragons are descendants of Long the Permanence the Progenitor of all dragons on the Hoyoverse universe.
And b4... Humans came to Teyvat and rule the place.
It was ruled by dragons.
Like alot of worlds.
Most worlds that has dragons are ruled by dragons.
And dragons are largely elemental.
@@BlueCHMA There is no evidence that ZZZ enters an imaginary tree. There are no confirmations from the developers, and there are not even hints in the game itself. So it is impossible to say that the game belongs to Honkai. Maybe in the future they will figure out how to connect them, but now there is no evidence of their connection anywhere. So at the moment it should be considered as a separate game. In the Genshin, Otto watched the flying Dwalin and the developers confirmed their connection.
