Faust actually was portrayed as a bit more creepy in the story and art of the sprite era games (but still goofy) and Xrd then just went full goofy, but with hints of creepyness still (for example his getting up animation at 9:02 has him rise like a mummy or vampire or smth) Strive then goes for a more creepy look, while many of his animations show je's actually still sweet and gentle (perhaps even more so than before)

Bedman died. He *_is_* the bed frame in Strive. His super? He's perpetually asleep in the real world, which is why he needed that frame to move around, but once he sends you to the dream world, it's over. Endless nightmares. Too bad Delilah can't do that...you know, since she's awake.
Ky's ponytail is good, but gives him hair install. The biggest buff in the game (joking but not joking). If you knock him down enough times his hair falls out of the ponytail and the song changes to Holy Orders, his theme in previous games.

@@Leffrey I forgot about Sol for a second 😂 Dizzy was the main focus of the 2nd game or more importantly the massive bounty on her head like you said she is innocent but she is also the daughter of Justice the rebel Commander class gear that started the Gear Rebellion and the last known commander class gear so the world governments wanted her dead, more of a case of Sins of The Mother then anything Dizzy herself did but thankfully that plotline gets resolved with folks like Sol and Ky and Johnny deciding to help Dizzy by faking her death and letting stay as part of May's Crew for a time. I can see Sol's face when he first heard about Dizzy Being pregnant ".....I just want to talk to him......" 🤣

It drove him into madness and made him become a serial killer. He was captured and finally arrested. A character named Testament Broke him out of prison and gave him back his weapon (the massive scalpel) During the tournament he was in he was later confronted by the Ghost of the Little girl he tried to save and she told him it wasn't his fault that she died. Hearing that helped him go on a better path. He vanished into the night to never be seen again. Thats the day When Faust was Born in the nexr game his fighting style got a face list and changed his name. He is on a journey of redemption and trying to give back to the world he onced hurt during his time as Baldhead. He heals/Cures people of all types od illness. He is genuinely the best at what he does. He helped Ky and Dizzy Deliver Their son Sin in secret. He healed a character named Zappa who was Haunted by a shit ton of Ghost ect. Like your friend said hes a good guy. He tried to do good. In the older games when he talks to I-no who was a Boss at the time. He confesses to her about his dark side (the dialogue still hits me hard) But he constantly tries to fight the urge to hurt other people and enjoys healing people. Gurren Lagann was referencing Diebuster/Gunbuster with the Inazuma Kick, which was itself referencing Kamen Rider. Gurren Lagann also takes heavy stylistic inspiration from Getter Robo.
So two things about Faust: Firstly, his attack where he jams his fingers into [redacted] and his face surgery Insta-Kill have varitions for each character if you can find them on RUclips. The first attack is "Stimulating Fists of Annihilation" and that has the most reactions since each character has up to 3 reactions and a unique face for comedic effect. As for the drastic change from Xrd to -Strive-, Faust stops Delilah (the Bedman from -Strive-) from causing a massive crisis via a destructive sphere of energy surrounding her via a magic door made by his magic, but afterwards due to the massive amount of energy used, Faust was drastically changed into the "zombie-looking" Faust in -Strive-.

Raven is one of, if not the oldest character in guilty gear, he was a german soldier in like the 1300s but became immortal, after some time he began searching for a way to die, and eventually became what is the most extreme masochist in history as pain remains the only thing that still brings him pleasure after all those centuries of life (please correct me if a got anything wrong, this is also a big summary)
You should try to find English language footage of Bedman (Xrd was dubbed but not Rev 2). It's just Yuri Lowenthal (Sasuke) giving one-breath villain speeches.
Second comment Dizzy is OP but other characters are leaves above her. Such as Slayer, Sol (when he is not nerfing himself) Axl low, Potemkin's Boss Gabriel Who is Slayers Rival in lore. Dizzy is up there in power but other characters are more Insane power wise.
