I loved the two very romantic looks best but my style is very romantic. The different colour combos was great to see as well as I think I would either go neutral or pink but it was nice to see some other ideas.

Quince’s silk skirts are perfect, in my opinion, they are one of the most important elements in my wardrobe. The price is great at $60 US.

Thank you so much, Carol! The skirt is so flattering and versatile, I was surprised by how easy it was to find tops to pair with it! I agree with you regarding the sandals/heels. The editing ended up cropping the video a bit so you can’t quite see my feet sometimes 😂, but I’m wearing my ByFar Tanya heels in nude with most outfits. It’s my preferred way too. I thought it would be nice to show how the skirt looks with flat sandals too though, just in case someone was wondering. :)

The champagne color can look a bit sheer if you don’t wear the proper under garment- it’s thin so I’d wear the closest nude shade to your skin for the best look ✨
Dear Mila, when you tuck in bulky tops, like the Gaspard, don’t they show with a flowy silk skirt like the one you’re wearing? How do you minimize that? I find it frustrating that any part of the shirt tucked in just show and bulks up my bottom . Thanks for your advice in advance.
I actually recorded every single step on how I tucked all these tops in but my editor left it out 😭 I’m so sorry!
I normally ask him to shorten the videos but this time he deleted one of the most important parts.
I should do a video about it. The Gaspard specifically, was the hardest one because it’s the longest - I tucked in the front only, the sides and back of Gaspard are under my bra. Cropped knits are much easier like the Leontine. I’d suggest French tucking it (just the front) or tucking under bra - it’s never comes off and look as cropped as you need. 🩷
@@milainnewyork please do a video if possible! I bought this beautiful Sandy skirt from sezane, but so struggled with the unsightly bulges from tucking in the tops I never wore it. Sigh. I did read about this tucking in the bra business, but I didn’t figure it out…

I know silk with silk, as in a silk skirt and top, seems to be considered too fancy these days, but I do it all the time. Why not enjoy the comfort of silk allover? At age 63, I do try to look modern, but I won’t give up items or outfits I love in order to suit someone else’s rules. The biggest change I’ve seen in 50 years of fashion is combining dressy and casual elements. When I was in my 20s (1980s), a silky top had to be worn with a silky bottom and wearing, say, jeans with a silky top, was unthinkable. I love the freedom of wearing a cotton top with silk trousers or vice versa these days, but that freedom should be extended to include more traditional combinations if we like, too. It’s like when matching accessories were a big No No, I ignored that and continued to wear mine, I knew they would be back. Plus, I don’t discard any high-quality items that I still love. I buy modern classics and they have a lot of longevity, trendy clothes and accessories don’t- they just date too fast.
