The other problem is the registered voters of Bridgeport, who, election year after election year, continued to vote Democrat. Over and Over. Two former Mayors were sentenced to jail. When the people vote in corrupt politicians into office in city council, they attack big business (manufacturing). So the factories slowly close up, lay off their employees and pack up and move down South or Overseas. Then hundreds even thousands of people go on unemployment insurance for 26 weeks, and when that runs out, they sell Crack and other illegal narcotics. The problem just snowballs from there.
