This is what we millenials say is a BIG flex, nate. This is what "put your money where your mouth is" really means. If there was ever proof someone online is a real trader it would be this video. Appreciate what you do for the trading community. Have learned alot from you over the years.
So awesome my brotha. I keep telling myself one day all these videos, charts, loses, gains will pay off.. thanks for all u do for the trading community
This is super awesome, PLease do more of these Nate, its so so inspiring, not the profits but the entries and the management of risk, thank you for the upload
So you were saying the basis for the trade was that 5.6 - 5.7 level, but the entire time you were shorting it, it was above that level. What made you stay in the trade? What was the risk? What made you initially enter at 5.7s and not before if that was the risk. Would love to hear more about the thought process behind that, would be so valuable to me.
Also on $APA, im guessing previous day high was the level of interest? If so, why did you want a pop in the morning. Whats the psychology behind wanting a pop above that level, and how far were you willing to let it pop over that previous HOD. Just trying to grasp how you gauge the wiggle room around these core levels. Im having problems with that currently.
@@MichKid14 Nate i literally dont ever hear you say a max risk point. Like how much more were you willing to let it push re 8:30 to 8:45. The only thing im hearing is if it starts to base at 5.70's. Im trying to fully understand how this can be viably repeated r/r wise. It seems like it'd be relatively easy to take a much bigger loss when you dont give the trade a definitive hard stop price. Also you say you wanted to start in before it hit your level in case it rejects immediately, yet you dont make an entry till its over 5.7. Im confused . Why were you anticipating it to push past that level and fail the break out.
Nathan Michaud unfortunately not a member but I’m just trying to see how you’re perceiving the chart. I truly wish I would just pick your brain for a little it would be invaluable. Been trading for a few years, was a member for one at the beginning of my trading journey. Just trying to expand my knowledge in every way I can.
@@MichKid14 Did you have any fundamental reasoning into thinking oil would pull back? What was the meat of the reason for the trade for you. Where did that level rank in your trade thesis
❤ Love this video! I have learned so much, you've given me an insight into you're thought processes going into a trade and risk management, it is priceless...I am humbled by your generosity thank you so much for all you do Nate 🙏✌🍎
"Give and it shall be added unto you, a good measure, pressed down and shaken together! With the measure you give so shall it be measured unto you'. God Bless you
Nate I just wanted to ask you, do you use level2 on all of the trades you took? I mean, are you able to watch all the lvl2 at the same time, or others are based on lvls, support+res ?
I like to scale in too. Most times scaling out too. it just helps assure best avg and best exit. Sometimes I end up getting out too soon but I'm trying to build my acct steady... Not gamble
Hey nate! Great video! Can I ask a question? Before you used hot keys how did you send your orders? I didn’t quite understand that on the video... you just typed in every order? Wasn’t hard getting filled?
Why don’t you typically show your PnL? Why should people be confident that you’re teaching profitable strategies if you’re not showing your profitable?
My other 5 figure losses never felt this good !
"Where things went wrong" ?? No, it is Where things went "right" and twice-A very nice gesture
This had the best suspenseful ending that I’ve seen in a long time, better than any Hollywood movie nowadays.
Probably the best way I've ever seen someone lose five figures captured on video. Thanks for the live trading!
Hell yea. My jaw dropped at the end in the best way. 👍🏻👍🏻🔥

Nathan Michaud what if it didn’t base at all and just kept going? Then what’s the risk
