Yes Assam was earlier a part of Koch kingdom under Maharaja Biswa Singha. Later on Maharaja Nara Narayan gave part of it to his brother Bir Chilarai.

It's Athra Sau not Atthara Sau in Punjabi Hindi is another type of accent . Keep your knowledge inside your pocket
