What this Dr. did in video is extremely rare on RUclips. Usually, in an opthalmology procedure view, you see it from the examiner's side, or you at most will see the machine itself, but you almost NEVER get a look at what the patient sees, and this is a shame. I think when a procedure like this is being performed, they should show the patient's view like this Dr. just did. He let us see what the patient sees, by holding the camera up to the eyepiece that the patient uses. I'm extremely pleased with the way that he did the video.

Hi Peter, we try to include the patients perspective in almost all of our diagnostic testing procedures. Thank you for your kind comment. Jim

Jason...want to really help people...learn about Keto and Carnivore diets...good starts would be with two well known MD's:
      Dr. Ken Berry
Dr. Robert Cywes / both on UTube teaching about "why sugar is killing us".
Listen, question and then inculcate this obvious information in your life.

This procedure is pretty much ubiquitous in an opthalmology office...and the nurses usually to the whole treatment...meaning; give the "dye"...take the pics, etc.
This leads an Opthal., to choose or not to choose "treatments" such as laser oblation to try and "cut down" on overly "leaky" vasculature.
Does laser oblation work? It's questionable...but very lucrative for the practice.
The best way to circumvent "these poor circulation" problems in the first place is to "eat according to our ancestral diet". Food does matter,...not supplements...the food itself.
One MUST give up eating "massive amounts of carbohydrates in one's diet". Sugar...causes the Insulin Effect/Metabolic Effect...which most MD's just "PooPoo"...and have no understanding of.
Learn about "Keto-Carnivore" diets today....change your health for tomorrow.
    Cut the SUGAR!!

Hi Marites, thank you for the compliment, though I am a 'CRA' or Certified Retinal Angiographer, thru the Ophthalmic Photographers' Society training and certification program which can be found at www.opsweb.org, I am not a physician. The procedure is safe for children, provided your Retinal Angiographer is following the correct guidelines for infusion of the FA Dye which according to the manufacturer [Akorn Pharmaceuticals] is 35 mg per ten pounds of body weight (7.7 mg/kg body weight), Tell your child not to be afraid and they should do just fine!
