Well it's too easy when you have artificial eyes, the dude literally might as well have been replaced by a robot, that's the easy way to deal with this problematic. This arc was written as a solo novel before boruto. Sasukes not nerfed here he’s on a mission if he kills they guy mission failed because that’s not the point of his mission, it’s to get medicine for Naruto whose sick.
Sarada finding out about Saskue’s past would have the same feeling as Atreus finding about Kratos past🔥

Honestly the setting of boruto had so much potential man like the introduction of technology into the ninja world couldve developed into a cultural conflict rather than political (i.e. war and akatsuki in Shippuden) and if the ninja world was ready for a shift into modernity? Like does a modern society need ninja? But then a new organization could be bent on technological warfare or something idk im stupid too

I am so glad and proud to say that I have never watched 1 full episode of Boruto...but rather some scenes like Kurama's departure and some fight scenes. Never knew what is happening and I love it. Growing up loving the insane powers and seeing them being upscaled by some weird bloke and some little kids. Tho did they forget that Sasuke had a different type of genjitsu? There's the mental type, his sharingan, and he had a physical type genjitsu that came along with the rinnegan. The one that he used on Sakura which forces the genjitsu into the body.
Something else he lost with his rinnegan, I guess. Somehow. I'm almost certain that's not how the rinnegan should work. You'd think he'd just need to see if Orochimaru can clone a new eye or see if Karen still has his old set of eyes lying around and he'd just slowly get the rinnegan back over time from the SSP chakra in him.

The technology nerfed the OG characters so bad that the heroes who were once on God level are f*cked up easily by a side quest character. Everyone turning into cyborgs and extensively uses scientific ninja tools. Boruto kinda turning the show into transformers.
